Germany: My Six Year Old Daughter’s Story

I have a six-year-old daughter. Even when she was first born, the look in her eyes was totally clear. At that time I could not help but think that this child looks at me as if she knew everything, an impression of her that intensified over time. That child was much more alert than others her own age. When she was only four weeks old she indicated that she wanted to be constantly occupied. At the same time there were many kinds of sufferings to endure. I often had an inkling as if this child were not mine, but is only looking for a path. I always called her angel.

Normally, three-year-old children behave quite playfully and often forget what they had been told. When my daughter was three years old one could already trust her with many responsibilities. When I assigned her a task, such as watching her little sister for a moment I could be assured that she carried out the assignment conscientiously.

When she was four I began to read Zhuan Falun [the main book of Falun Gong] to her, but not regularly at first. Now my daughter no longer allows me to skip even one day. In these things she is very meticulous. Once in a while, when I arrive home late she uses all her efforts to remain awake, to hear a little bit about the Fa [principles of Falun Gong as written in the book Zhuan Falun]. When I enter the door of her room I can see her small angel-head popping up from the bed as she calls, “Mom, you have to read me from Falun Gong.”

Often I would be tired at night and could not pass this test. But my daughter did not let that be. Every time I wanted to stop the reading she would tell me to continue! When I would be occupied with clarification work about the persecution and wanted to stop reading to her she would not allow me to do so, under any circumstance. I am very grateful to her, because I can learn from her.

My second-born daughter is now four years old. Beginning two weeks ago she also wanted to listen to the Fa in the evenings.
