Many French people already knew about Falun Gong and expressed their support to us immediately. Chinese people also accepted our material in a kind-hearted way. When they saw it was about Falun Gong, they nodded their heads, smiled, and said cheerfully, “Oh, it’s Falun Gong." They immediately concentrated on reading the booklet and put the VCD into their pockets gratefully. -
UK: Promoting Falun Gong in Manchester’s Chinatown on Chinese New Year
2004-02-01On January the 25th, Dafa practitioners went to Manchester’s Chinatown to hold celebration activities for the Spring Festival. While here, practitioners handed out flyers and clarified the facts about Falun Gong to Chinese people and westerners. The Chinese people's attitude had also changed a lot. When receiving information from practitioners, many of them sincerely said thank you. Some of them even asked for information about practice sites and said that they would like to learn the exercises. -
Lawyers From Different Countries Deliver Speeches at an International Conference on "Genocide in the New Era"

The International Workshop on “Modern Genocide", which was jointly held by the “International Advocates for Justice" and “Friends of Falun Gong", convened in Stockholm, Sweden, on January the 26th 2004. The conference was scheduled to last three days. On the second day of the conference, lawyers from various countries spoke at the workshop. -

International Forum on "Preventing Genocide: Threat and Responsibility" Held in Stockholm, Sweden

On January the 26th, the Stockholm International Forum held a workshop on “Preventing Genocide: Threat and Responsibility". The Prime Minister of Sweden invited representatives from sixty countries to attend and discuss the important issues related to genocide, including humanitarianism, various policies, and the question of morality. -
UK: “Suing Jiang" in London's Trafalgar Square
2004-01-27On January the 11th 2004, London's Trafalgar Square saw UK Falun Gong practitioners gather to demonstrate the five Falun Gong exercises and perform a symbolic trial entitled “Bring Jiang to Justice”, which attracted many tourists. The Falun Gong practitioners who didn’t perform handed out materials to passersby. At times, people came to enquire about the activities and the persecution in China. Practitioners were happy to answer their questions. -
Denmark: Practitioners Promote Falun Gong on Chinese New Year's Eve

Danish practitioners held activities and a picture exhibition in front of the city hall in Copenhagen on Chinese New Year's Eve. They appealed to bring Jiang Zemin to justice in a public trial and to stop the persecution of Falun Gong. They also celebrated the New Year with local people and let them know more about Falun Dafa. -
France: Falun Gong Practitioners' Parade in Paris Draws Media Attention
2004-01-26According to a report on January the 23rd by Radio Free Asia, about five hundred Falun Gong practitioners from various countries in Europe participated in the parade through Paris to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year, which attracted a lot of tourists and French citizens.Dressed in traditional Chinese costumes, they performed a fan dance, drum dance, and danced wearing dragon masks, as the parade marched from Piazza di Repubblica to the Bastille. -

2004-01-24On the 17th and 18th of January 2004, the European Choir of Falun Gong practitioners, called the “I come here for you" Choir, gave their first official public performance at the Manhattan Cultural Centre in New York. One of the performers singing on both nights to the 2500-strong audience was Mikko Mattila, a 25 year-old Falun Gong practitioner from Finland. German Lawsuit: Persecuted Together in Mainland China, Now Suing the Evil Together Abroad
2004-01-22From 2000 to 2002, Zhao Ming, currently studying in Ireland, and Chen Gang, currently staying in the United States, experienced cruel spiritual and physical torture at Beijing's Tuanhe labour camp because of their belief in Falun Gong. On November 21st 2003, they met again in Europe and gathered with thirty nine other Falun Gong practitioners from various countries to sue sixteen Chinese government officials.
