In the meantime, her leg turned black and she could not walk, but no one took care of her. She still had to be present for roll call and be counted. Only when her leg developed black and purple dots and she had blood in her urine was she released. She was carried to Zhangjiakou No.1 Subsidiary Hospital. The doctors had to tragically amputate one of her legs due to the delay in treatment. She became disabled. The "610 Office" of Zhangjiakou City and Xuanhua Detention Centre cannot shirk their responsibility for disabling Zhang. -
Daqing Forced Labour Camp Police Deliberately Freeze Falun Dafa Practitioner to Death
2003-06-15He Huajiang refused to write the so-called "letter of regret," so from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., the prisoners tortured him by freezing him. They tied him to an iron chair, sealed his mouth and opened the windows. They sometimes took him outside to freeze him. We could hear He Huajiang's moaning and we could hear Wang Qingling's shouting, "Are you going to write it? Do you hear me?" The prisoners Zhao Lizhi and Lu Huashan, as well as practitioner Liu Fubin could hear He Huajiang's terrible moaning when they went to the second floor to brush their teeth. Due to the extensive torturing, around 11 p.m., He Huajiang was frozen to death in the 2nd unit bathroom. -

Brutally Tortured to Death: Former Elementary School Principal From Hunan Province
2003-06-12Mr. Yan was a kindhearted person who was well respected in Hengyang City. On March 6, 2002, he and his wife were working in their family-run store, when a gang of policemen suddenly burst in and took him away. The police also ransacked the store, appropriating all the goods and money. Mr. Yan's store, worth 70,000 Yuan, was thus completely destroyed. Many of his family members and relatives were also affected. -
Pregnant Practitioner's Baby Tragically Dies While She Is in Detention
2003-06-12The police in Tianjin forcefully detained her even though she was found to be pregnant at the time. She was sent back home just before she was going to give birth to her baby yet her newly born baby was tragically dead, presumably due to the mistreatment the practitioner received in detention. After she had stayed home for 20 days, the inhumane police still took her back to the detention centre. -
Female Dafa Practitioner is Killed After Exposing the Murder of a Fellow Practitioner in Chongqing City
2003-06-11Ms. Zhang Nengxiu went to related work units, including the local police station, and clarified the fact that Xu Huijuan was murdered, which shocked and terrified the persecutors. Soon after, the residential community office invited Zhang Nengxiu to participate in travel activities and she agreed. After that, she disappeared. Several days later (around May 15), the neighbours smelled a stench coming from Ms. Zhang's home, and discovered that she was dead. -

2003-06-11Zhang Hongwei, a policeman who worked for the Dalian Public Security Bureau illegally arrested Li Zhongmin on Xiaoping Island of Dalian in January 2002. As a result of Zhang's active participation in the persecution of Falun Gong, his boss went against the regulations and promoted him to be head of the Kunming Street Police Station of Zhongshan District, Dalian City, providing him with the responsibility of specialising in the hideous persecution of Falun Gong in that area. -

2003-06-11However, the truth cannot be hidden. The truth will be exposed sooner or later. It is futile to admit to murdering a person and then "buy off" the victims with huge amounts of money. Policeman Zhu Wenyong Murders Practitioner Gao Xianmin By Force-Feeding Him with Toxic High-Concentration Salt Water
2003-06-06They then poured a whole packet (500 grams) of salt into the bottle, mixed with only a little water. All of the Dafa practitioners on hunger strike were force-fed in this horrendous manner. Some were force-fed with one packet of salt and some with two packets of salt. Female practitioner Zhang Chunmei was once force-fed with two packets of salt. She could not move afterwards, remained unconscious for several days and nights, and lost control of her bowels and bladder. In spite of her condition, policeman Zhu Wenyong repeatedly came to the cell to kick her, and loudly claimed that she was pretending to be dead. -

2003-06-06I went to see Wei before he passed away. It seemed that he had aged 20 years since before his detainment; his whole body was swollen and covered with infected wounds. 2003-06-05Shujie immediately passed out from shock and fear. After she woke up, she had a fever and was sweating. She shook her head from side to side due to severe pain in her head. She was restless and uneasy and banged her head against the wall. After she returned home, she was in lethargic sleep for a whole day. The police went to Shujie's home over and over again to arrest her family members. When Shujie's father was arrested and was not home, Shujie missed her father very much, and she held the picture taken with her father in her arms and cried badly. -
Tragic Death at Hands of Inner Mongolia of Lady Dafa Practitioner (Photo)
2003-06-05She had been holding a hunger strike to protest the illegal detention. The police didn't allow her family to visit. On May 26, Liu Yuxiang was on the verge of death and was sent to the city hospital. She died around 8:45 p.m. the same day (May 26). At the time of her death, her front teeth had turned black and her mouth was slightly open, which may have been caused by brutal force-feeding. Afterwards, the police blocked this information and threatened her family. The police want to avoid responsibility for their crime. -
60 Year-Old Lady Practitioner Tortured to Her Limit Until She Died in Masanjia Forced Labour Camp
2003-06-04She had been detained many times unjustly at Wafangdian City Detention Centre for going to Beijing to appeal for Dafa, and suffered all kinds of torture. Following her second illegal arrest she was sent to Masanjia Forced Labour Camp where she also suffered from brutal torture, such as being forced to kneel down on a 10" long wood strip or on a brick, being shocked with high voltage batons, and being exposed to the heat in the sun. She was tortured to the limit of her endurance and tragically died in April 2003.
