In March 2001, guards at the Longshan Forced Labour Camp in Shenyang City started the systematic persecution of Falun Gong practitioners so as to "forcibly reform" them, a euphemism for brainwashing. The head administrator once ferociously told Falun Gong practitioners who were steadfast in cultivation, "This is an institution of coercion! You must be reformed, whether you agree or not!" Female prison guard Wang Jinghui said, "You don't want to be reformed? Then your stay here won't be comfortable!" Team leader Tang Yubao usually kicked and punched practitioners or shocked them with electric batons. He also verbally abused them. -
Chuanxi Women's Prison Has Subjected Nearly One Hundred Practitioners to Brutal Torture
2004-09-22After ex-leader of China, Jiang Zemin and his associates' persecution of Falun Gong started in 1999, the Chuanxi Women's Prison in Sichuan Province has been detaining Falun Dafa practitioners on and off, amounting to nearly one hundred practitioners in total. During the continuous persecution, the division director Wang Xinya has made repeated remarks at many meetings, "We take the death of a Falun Gong practitioner like the death of a dog. Just take the body out and cremate it." -

All of a sudden, four or five policemen broke into my home and questioned me as to whether I was still practising Falun Gong. They handcuffed me and ordered me go to the police station with them. My family members tried to reason with them, but the police threatened my family with handcuffs and electric batons. Huge Profits Made by Chaoyang District Forced Labour Camp in Changchun City
2004-09-21The Chaoyang District Forced Labour Camp in Changchun City recently moved to an adjacent location. After the move, the old site was leased to a few underground factories that have no business license and pay no taxes. The labour camp forced detainees to work in these factories, folding paper in the print shop or working on miscellaneous jobs in the leather processing shop. The labour camp police have made huge profits from this arrangement. -

2004-09-20These methods of torture were used in the year 2000 on practitioners detained in Xinhua Labour Camp, Sichuan province. The police instigated drug addicts to tie up practitioners' hands, and hung them up by the feet to a basketball support. Then these thugs cursed and beat the practitioners with their hands and feet. Sometimes over a dozen would together beat one practitioner. Electric Needle Torture
2004-09-20"In May 2003, I was arrested and detained in the Wuhan Detention Centre for distributing materials to clarify the facts about the persecution of Falun Dafa. Later, I was sent to a psychiatric hospital south of Wuhan City in Hubei Province. During this time, I was subjected one of the cruellest tortures--being electro-shocked with needles inserted into my temple. 2004-09-18The Yushan Forced Labour Camp in Tianjin City tortures Falun Dafa practitioners brutally. They try to force practitioners to walk back and forth on our Teacher's picture and shout obscene words. When practitioners refuse to comply, the guards stab, shock and beat the sensitive places on the body including the head, neck and private parts with big long needles, electric batons and wooden sticks. Prisoners force-feed Falun Gong practitioners and mix food with large amounts of salt, toothpaste, chili powder, and even faeces. -

Jilin City's First and Third Detention Centers Exhibit Total Disregard for Human Rights and Try to Conceal their Crimes
2004-09-15The First and Third Detention Centres of Jilin City are located on Yueshan Road. Since July the 20th 1999, the two centres have detained and severely persecuted hundreds of Falun Gong practitioners. With the permission of Director of the Third Detention Centre Zhufeng Sun and Commissar Wang Wenkui, at least three Falun Gong practitioners have been murdered in the centre. Wang Lixin, Fu Shengchun and Li Chuanping have all died as a direct result of the persecution they were subjected to in the detention centre. -
Hanging Torture Leaves Many Practitioners With Crippled Hands at Huhhot Women's Forced Labour Camp
2004-09-15The authorities at Huhhot Women's Forced Labour Camp have adopted many inhumane measures to torment determined Falun Dafa practitioners. Ms. Zhou Caixia was tortured to death at the Huhhot Women's Labour Camp. Her hands were crippled as a result of this hanging torture before she died. In addition, she was force-fed with lime (calcium carbonate), which burned the lining of her stomach. She was finally driven to madness from pain. -
Two Brothers from Huludao City Tortured and Sent to Forced Labour Camp
2004-09-13Falun Gong practitioners Zhao Liang and Zhao Ming are from Liaoning Province. After their arrest, both were severely tortured in Huludao Detention Centre. One criminal even tortured Zhao Liang by brutally crushing his testicles stating menacingly, ""I am on death row! It doesn't matter if I take one more life." . On July 2, 2004, the two brothers were sentenced to three years of forced labour. -

2004-09-12The following is an account in Ms. Dong's own words about her horrifying experience at the Longshan Forced Labour Camp. The regime tries to block this information from reaching governments and people overseas, and even the general Chinese population is unaware of the extent of the persecution because of the controlled media. For this reason, Ms. Dong had some pictures taken of herself to demonstrate the torture methods used on her while incarcerated, which would serve as a record for history. However, the torture that the victim actually suffered cannot fully be appreciated from these photographs. -
Slave Labour at Detention Centre in Jiangxi Province (Illustration)
2004-09-12A Detention Centre in Jiangxi Province force the detainees to make Christmas lights. The police compete with each other. They get bonuses based on the output of the detainees under their supervision. They force the detainees to work day and night until 1:00am or 2:00am on average, and even until 4:00am occasionally. The detainees start working at 5:30 am the next day.
