Torture method: The two arms are cuffed to the upper portions of two separated bunk beds. Then four people pull the two beds apart. Torture method: Violently Beating Practitioners with Stools or Benches: Falun Gong practitioners were forced to squat on the floor with their hands behind their back. Prisoners and policemen then used stools or benches to beat them violently on the head and the back. If the practitioners did not obey them, they would be tortured with even more cruel methods.
  • The Mental and Physical Torture of Falun Dafa Practitioners by Guards at Beijing's Tuanhe Forced Labour Camp

Tuanhe Forced Labour Camp used a technique called "sitting facing the wall" to physically and mentally torture practitioners. "Sitting facing the wall" requires practitioners to sit absolutely straight with their faces towards the wall, their knees against the wall, and their eyes only a few inches away from the wall. They must not move or close their eyes or glance sideways. "Sitting facing the wall" is a physical punishment and mental torment for practitioners. Inmates monitor the practitioners.

  • A Practitioner Recounts the Torture She Experienced at the Yuegezhuang Police Station

One night in July of 2001, the police brought several of us Falun Dafa practitioners to the Yuegezhuang Police Station and five to six policemen used cruel and despicable means to try to force us to confess to crimes we had not committed. They handcuffed my hands behind the back of the chair. Then they passed an electric baton through the handcuffs, catching one end of the baton on the arm of the chair, and pressed the other end forcefully, making me cry out in such pain that my voice filled the night sky.

I have suffered serious mental and financial torment as well as unbelievably horrific physical persecution."

"On January 29, 2004, I was transferred from Tieling Forced Labour Camp to Liaoyang Forced Labour Camp, where the persecutors continued to torture me. Right after I arrived, Section Head Zou read through every detained practitioner's file and came up with an individual torture plan for each practitioner. This kind of abuse lasted for more than 8 months."

  • A Practitioner's Child Says "I Need My Mum!"

My name is Ping An, and I am a middle school student [in China]. However, I was forced to leave school because my mother is a Falun Dafa practitioner. Since July 20, 1999--when the persecution of Falun Gong started--until today, I have been living in horror, worry and fear. Because my mother practises Falun Gong, the local government officials forced my parents to divorce. Since then, my mother and I have had a difficult and worrisome life. It was even worse during the time when mother was not at home. Seeing children in other families play with their mums or go shopping together, or hearing other children calling their mums, I could not hold back my tears.

This is how Lu Guocheng implants lies and hatred into innocent children. [Note: Big enterprises in China often have their own primary and secondary schools for the employees' children.]

These so-called "court trials" were held in secret. At around 8:00 a.m. on August 24, four policemen tried to force practitioner Mr. Wei Danquan, who was in life-threatening danger, to the court for trial, but Wei's family strongly opposed it and argued with reason. They requested that police sign a statement assuming responsibility for the consequences if they insisted on taking Mr. Wei, but the officers were afraid to do so and left empty-handed.
