    On March 4th, 2008, during the intermission of the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular's second show in Geneva, the reporter came across Mr. and Mrs. Sarkissian. When asked about their impression of the show, Mrs. Sarkissian said, "I like it very much, the colours are just beautiful. I don't know what to say, it's beyond description."

    On the evening of March 4th, 2008, the Theatre du Leman in Geneva, Switzerland was again filled to capacity for the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular. Jean-Paul, an insurance executive, said, "I know little about Chinese culture, but I found myself captivated by the costumes and colours, as well as the live orchestra".

    "We like Chinese culture. From the show, we learned a lot about it," Ms. Dardaine said to a reporter after the fourth show of the Chinese Spectacular in Paris on March 2nd. Ms. Dardaine said: "The show was captivating . The beautiful costumes, dances and background scenes were like a dream." Other people also commented that the show broadened their view of Chinese culture.
  • Switzerland: The Premiere of the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular in Geneva Receives Rave Reviews, Many Dignitaries Attend

    On the evening of March 3rd, 2008, the Chinese Spectacular presented the 19th show of its European tour in Geneva, Switzerland. The Geneva performance was on the heels of successful performances in Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, Belgium and France. The Chinese Spectacular in Geneva received rave reviews from dignitaries who attended.
  • Switzerland: "It Was Like a Wonderful Dream"

    Mr. Wilson is an employee of a luxury hotel in Geneva. He is a big fan of the arts and has seen performing arts shows all over the world. On March 2nd, he attended the Chinese Spectacular in Geneva. During the intermission, he told reporter that he has never seen such a good show before. He said the dances, music and colours were all wonderful. "It was like a dream to me", he said.
  • Germany: “This perfect interaction between music, choreography and dance was absolutely wonderful”

    He continued, “The other thing I was most impressed with was the political theme that was shown in two dance scenes. This was done extremely well. The choreography of the second one of the two scenes was done especially well, mainly how the three principles “Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance” were brought into the scene. It was very impressive. The choreography was done so well, without appearing deliberate, although it addressed a very serious issue".

    The brilliant performances once again delighted their audience. As it was a weekend, many prominent government officials came--some even brought their bodyguards. Some officials told reporters that they were senior officials from the Foreign Affairs Ministry or Ministry of Internal Affairs, and they therefore had to decline public interviews.
  • Germany: 'Information Day' during a Football Match between Germany and China

    On February 28th 2008, the World Organisation for Human Rights held an Information Day activity at Badenova Stadium in Freiburg, Germany. Some Falun Gong practitioners from Germany and Switzerland also participated in the activity. They exposed the truth about the persecution against Falun Gong to the spectators who came to view the women’s football match between Germany and China and called on the Chinese Communist regime to put an end to the persecution of Falun Gong.
  • United Kingdom: London Audience Expresses Appreciation for the Divine Performing Arts

    On the afternoon of August 24, 2008, the Divine Performing Arts on Tour successfully concluded its four performances in London. Two ladies from the audience expressed their views about the show. One of them was Nola, who moved to London from Ireland. She is an amateur painter. The other lady was Nola's cousin, Jessica, who is a college student, majoring in arts.

    On the evening of February 29, 2008, the Divine Performing Arts Company held the first show of the Chinese Spectacular in the Palais des Congres de Paris. Afterwards, many in the audience said that they enjoyed the traditions manifested in the show. One said, "I hope people can be clear that this sort of thing is what our world needs most."
  • France: Divine Performing Arts Performs the First of Four Shows in Paris and Wins Acclaim from VIPs

    On February 29th, 2008, the first of four Chinese Spectacular shows in Paris was held in Palais des Congres de Paris. During the performance, the audience and performers interacted warmly. After the show, the curtains lowered and the audience was reluctant to leave. The performers answered curtain calls three times.

    On February 29th, 2008, the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular played at the Palais des Congres in Paris and received great acclaim from the audience. Ms. Francoise runs an art publishing company. She said, "I enjoyed those dances and songs, especially the ones depicting historical stories. They help us better understand Chinese culture."
  • Belgium: Belgian Theatergoers Marvel at Chinese Culture

    Three wonderful shows by Divine Performing Arts in Antwerp warmed the hearts of the usually conservative Belgians. A line of people could be seen at the ticket window right before the show. The audience members gave long, standing ovations at the end of each show. Some waved at the artists, while speaking glowingly about their impressions afterward.
