This festival is an annual celebration for families in the local community with a history that harkens back to the days of celebrating a successful harvest. Germany: Raising Awareness about Falun Gong in a Small Town

When residents of Sunching in Regensburg celebrated their annual Village Festival (Volksfest), local Falun Gong practitioners took the opportunity to raise awareness about Falun Gong. Falun Gong practitioners in Regensburg set up a booth and placed the display boards on the ground early in the morning. Local people were shocked by the inside stories about the Chinese Communist regime’s harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners’ bodies. -

Letter from CIPFG to the German Chancellor Urging an Immediate End to the CCP's Persecution of Falun Gong

On August 24th, 2007, German members of the CIPFG (Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China) wrote a letter to Chancellor Angela Merkel, who will visit China soon. In the letter, they urged Mrs. Merkel to help to end the persecution of the Chinese communist regime against Falun Gong and pass along the CIPFG’s letters to China’s president Hu Jintao and the premier Wen Jiabao.
