  • Report from the French Falun Dafa Information Centre: The President of the Closing Ceremony of China-France Culture Year, Li Changchun, Sued in Paris

    On July 2nd, a lawsuit filed against Mr. Li Changchun, accused of being an accessory to torture, was handed to the Inquisitor of the Superior Republic Court of Paris and was accepted. As a committee member of the Central Communist China Political Department, the former Guangdong Province's Committee Secretary Mr. Li Changchun has prepared for the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners even before July 20th 1999 and has vigorously helped to sustain the execution of the persecution.

    On the day of the 2004 Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference in Vienna, I met Ms Jane Dai and her four year old daughter Fadu. Three years ago her husband in China was persecuted to death by Jiang’s regime simply because he persisted in practising Falun Gong and refused to give up his belief in Truthfulness Compassion and Forbearance.   • Holland: "Petal of Peace" Activity Held in a Primary School

    A primary school in Southern Holland invited Falun Gong practitioners to introduce Falun Gong and involve the children in the “Petal of Peace” activity. Practitioners demonstrated the exercises, explained how to make peace petals and told the teachers and thirty-six students about the persecution of Falun Gong, which is taking place in China.
  • Germany: Introducing Falun Gong at Chamer City Citizen Festival

    Chamer, a small city in German Bavaria, hosted a large-scale Citizen Festival on June 26th and 27th. Local Falun Gong practitioners participated with exercise demonstrations and a display stand introducing Falun Gong, as well as performances of traditional singing and dancing. Falun Gong's participation brought peace and harmony to the Citizen Festival, which bustled with noise and excitement.
  • Article from The Times: Falun Gong Practitioner Shot in South Africa

    A member of the Falun Gong movement has been shot in a drive-by attack in South Africa. David Liang sustained gunshot wounds to his feet after his car was sprayed with bullets near Johannesburg. He was in the country to protest at talks between the Chinese and South African governments. “After shooting at us they did not rob us and simply sped away,” Mr Liang said from his hospital bed. “We are sure the Chinese Government is involved.”
  • France: Practitioners Expose the Jiang Group’s Acts of Terrorism

    To expose the Jiang group's employment of hired gunmen to kill Falun Gong practitioners, French practitioners immediately visited the South African Embassy and the Australian Embassy in Paris, giving them materials about Falun Gong and the persecution, and calling on the governments of South Africa and Australia to thoroughly investigate the shooting incident.
  • Holland: People Learn the Facts About Falun Gong at The Hague on the United Nations International Day in Support of Victims of Torture

    On June the 26th, United Nations International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, Dutch Falun Dafa practitioners held a peaceful appeal at the Hague International Court to ask the public to pay attention to the brutal and illegal 5-year persecution of Falun Gong by Jiang Zemin’s political group in Mainland China.
  • Czech Republic: Falun Gong Press Conference in Prague on the United Nations International Day in Support of Victims of Torture

    On Saturday the 26th of June 2004, the United Nations International Day in Support of the Victims of Torture, Czech and British Falun Gong practitioners gathered on Prague’s Krizovnicke Square by the famous Charles Bridge to honour the memory of those whose lives have been taken in Jiang Zemin’s 5-year campaign of genocide waged against Falun Gong in China.
  • Germany: The Olympic Torch Arrives in Munich, Organisations Appeal For Attention to Human Rights Violations in China

    The Olympic Torch arrived in Munich on the 29th of June and around 20,000 spectators on Marling Square enthusiastically applauded when the baton was brought to the Square. Many civilian groups and human rights organisations held activities. The brutal persecution of Falun Gong taking place in China and the lawsuit against Jiang Zemin’s crime of genocide launched in many countries including Germany were specifically mentioned in the materials distributed by the IGMF.
  • Radio France Internationale (RFI): Falun Gong sues Li Changchun in Paris

    Three practitioners of the Falun Gong Spiritual movement filed a lawsuit in Paris against Li Changchun. The group said Mr Li was the accomplice to crimes of torture against the group, which is outlawed in China. The group said Mr Li had called for the elimination of Falun Gong practitioners and supported torture while serving as Communist Party Secretary of Guangdong Province. “Of China’s thirty provinces, Guangdong ranks eighth in terms of deaths of Falun Gong practitioners from abuse in custody ”, says Zhang Jianping, Falun Gong contact person in Paris.
  • Austria: The European ”Coming for You” Choir Touched People’s Hearts at a Performance in Vienna

    Falun Gong practitioners gathered in Vienna on the 19th of June 2004 to raise awareness of the ongoing genocide of Falun Gong practitioners in China. Earlier in the day, many politicians, human rights organisations and victims of the persecution demanded an immediate end to the human rights violations in China. Later in the afternoon in Stephansplatz, dance, drama and music were performed to communicate the beauty of Falun Dafa.
  • Holland: Supporting “Petals of Peace” by Visiting a Local School

    Dutch Falun Gong practitioners started a project to let children know more about Falun Gong. After the practitioners sent information to schools in the Netherlands, a school near Rotterdam took the initiative and invited the practitioners to tell them more about Falun Gong, the exercises and the persecution in China.
  • Denmark: Danish and Swedish Falun Gong Practitioners Strongly Condemn the Shooting Incident in South Africa

    In China, the Jiang group has already issued an order to shoot Falun Gong practitioners who persist in explaining the facts and a number of crimes involving shooting have been committed. Now, out of fear of being sued in international courts by Falun Gong practitioners, Zeng Qinghong and Bo Xilai have exported these acts of terrorism overseas.
  • Germany: Practitioners from Germany and Austria Hold a Peaceful Appeal at the Chinese Consulate in Munich

    To condemn Zeng Qinghong and Bo Xilai for their act of terrorising Falun Gong practitioners trying to make a peaceful appeal, practitioners from Bavaria and Austria came to the Chinese Consulate in Munich to present a petition. Their purpose was to remind the Chinese people and the international community of the genocide that practitioners are facing.
