  • Vice President of the European Parliament Speaks at a Bangkok Conference

    "I met two men at a secret site in Beijing ... [one] man I met was Cao Dong, who was imprisoned and tortured for four years because of practising Falun Gong. Mr. Cao told me that one day his friend disappeared and when he showed up again, he was a dead body with a big cut. Apparently, his organs had been taken".
  • Sweden: Raising Awareness about Falun Gong in the Small Town of Gråbo

    Falun Gong practitioners from Lerum and Gothenburg held an activity on the central square in the small town of Gråbo in the southwest of Sweden on Saturday September 1st, to introduce Falun Gong to local people. Practitioners demonstrated Falun Gong's five exercises and distributed information about the brutal persecution of Falun Gong.
  • Falun Gong is Becoming Popular in Belgium

    In July 2007, the “Wonderful Life,” a best-selling magazine in Belgium, carried a article entitled “Banned in China, but Falun Gong is Popular in Belgium,” which employed a contrasting approach to report about Falun Gong’s popularity in Belgium and the persecution of the practice perpetrated by the Chinese Communist regime in China.
  • Finland: Raising Awareness about the Persecution of Falun Gong with an 'Anti-Torture Exhibition' in Helsinki

    On September 8th, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners from Helsinki gathered beside the railway station to hold an anti-torture exhibition, exposing the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong and the atrocity of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.
  • Ukraine: Raising Awareness about Falun Gong During a Town Festival

    The town of Krasniy Liman celebrated the 340th anniversary of its establishment. Local residents gathered in a downtown park where groups offered various cultural and artistic festivities. Ukrainian Falun Gong practitioners made use of the opportunity and exposed to festival goers the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese communist regime
  • Russia: Paper Lotus Flowers Raise Awareness about Falun Gong

    On the 1st and 2nd of September 2007, Falun Gong practitioners in Russia held two consecutive days of Folding Paper Lotus Flowers to Convey the Truth in the Square at Lenexpo Exhibition Centre, the largest of its kind in St. Petersburg. The place was packed with people and practitioners could hardly cope with the number of onlookers.
  • Finland: 'Anti-Torture Exhibition' Depicts Hidden Brutality of the Chinese Communist Party

    On September 8th, 2007, Finnish Falun Gong practitioners gathered in Helsinki city centre to conduct a reenactment of torture methods used to persecute Falun Gong practitioners in Chinese labour camps and prisons. They also exposed the atrocity of organ harvesting from living victims, appealing to local people for support to bring the persecution to an end.
  • United Kingdom: Showing the Beauty of Falun Dafa in Truro Carnival

    Practitioners from Cornwall in England, supported by practitioners from London and Brighton, took part in Truro carnival for the first time on 8th September 2007. The Falun Dafa float, decorated with beautiful pink lotus flowers, Falun symbols and heavenly clouds, carried practitioners demonstrating the peaceful Falun Gong exercises.
  • Radio France International: CCP Continues Crackdown on Press Freedom Ahead of Olympic Games

    On the 8th of September 2007, Radio France International reported that Human Rights Observer, an organisation headquartered in the US, published a report condemning the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for not making good its promise to the International Olympics Committee (IOC) on granting press freedom to the greatest extent possible.
  • United Kingdom: Practitioners Raise Awareness about Falun Gong During the Conference Weekend

    On the weekend of August 25th, the "UK Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference 2007” was held. The day before the conference, many Falun Gong practitioners living outside London went to one of the capital's parks to demonstrate the Falun Gong exercises and raise awareness about the persecution. Many people were attracted by the peaceful exercise music.
  • Italy: Essuno Tocchi Caino: Annual Report Discloses the CCP's Persecution of Falun Gong

    The Italian NGO Nessuno Tocchi Caino (Hands off Cain) pointed out in its report of investigation into the frequency of world death penalties published on August 30th 2007: Dictatorship destroys its enemies by using the death penalty. The report gave coverage to the persecution of religions and groups of spiritual movement, such as the persecution of Falun Gong happening in China, the CCP organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners, and the CCP persecution of Buddhists, Christians and Catholics.
  • Ukraine: Raising Awareness about Falun Gong in Rivne

    “I know Chinese people are smart and wise.   • Czech Republic: Czech Vice Premier Demonstrates Concern for Human Rights in China

    The “Human Rights Torch Relay”, organised by the CIPFG (Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China) to raise global awareness of human rights in China, arrived in the Czech Republic’s capital Prague on September the 6th, 2007 via Berlin and Munich. The Torch Relay has received widespread support from all circles in the Czech Republic.
  • United Kingdom: Cherry Hinton Festival in Cambridge, England

    It was a beautiful summer’s day in Cambridge for the Cherry Hinton Festival. This festival is an annual celebration for families in the local community with a history that harkens back to the days of celebrating a successful harvest. Local practitioners took part in the festival this year with calligraphy and demonstrations of the Falun Gong exercises.
  • Germany: Raising Awareness about Falun Gong in a Small Town

    When residents of Sunching in Regensburg celebrated their annual Village Festival (Volksfest), local Falun Gong practitioners took the opportunity to raise awareness about Falun Gong. Falun Gong practitioners in Regensburg set up a booth and placed the display boards on the ground early in the morning. Local people were shocked by the inside stories about the Chinese Communist regime’s harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners’ bodies.
