  • Russia: Falun Gong Practitioners hold Activities on UN International Day in Support of Victims of Torture

    On the 26th of June 2005, Falun Gong practitioners held an activity in Pjatigorsk city centre. Banners and leaflets exposed the Chinese Communist Party’s persecution against Falun Gong over the last six years. In four hours, 1,300 leaflets were distributed. People were sympathetic after hearing about the persecution suffered by Falun Gong practitioners.
  • Russia: Anti-torture Exhibition Touches Moscow People

    On June the 26th, World Anti-Torture Day, Moscow Falun Gong practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition on the square in front of the Moscow Art Gallery. They used display boards and simulated some of the countless forms of torture used by the Chinese authorities in cruel attempts to force Falun Gong practitioners to renounce their beliefs.
  • Germany: Anti-Torture Exhibition at Cologne Cathedral

    Practitioners from Nordrhein-Westfalen in Germany held an anti-torture exhibition in front of Cologne Cathedral to expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) brutal persecution against Falun Gong. An anti-torture exhibition involves re-enactments of the torture methods used in attempts to force Falun Gong practitioners in China to renounce their beliefs.
  • Finland: Anti-Torture Exhibition Exposes the Truth about China’s State Terrorism (Part 1 — Tampere)

    The anti-torture exhibition began its tour in Tampere. Practitioners from Finland, Sweden and Germany took part. Practitioners informed the people about the persecution in many cities like Tampere, Jyväskylä, Kuopio, Lahti, Helsinki and Turku. Many Finnish people joined the worldwide voice to end this persecution by signing a petition.
  • United Kingdom: Stories from the Cambridge "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" International Art Exhibition

    Jane Nicolas, the administrator of the church, said, “This art exhibition has proven to be very attractive and its contents are very rich. Persecution and torture of any group or individual is fundamentally wrong. As Christians, it is our responsibility to support the people of every nation in their effort to expose and condemn all violence.”
  • Sweden: Calling for an End to the Persecution with an Anti-Torture Exhibition in Stockholm

    Practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition to expose the brutal methods of persecution used against Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party. The practitioners hoped to encourage public support for an end to these human rights abuses against people who only want to peacefully practise their exercises and live their lives by the principles of truthfulness, compassion and tolerance.
  • Sweden: Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Art Exhibition held in Stockholm

    On the 9th of June 2005 the Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Arts Exhibition opened in a gallery in Sweden's capital city of Stockholm. A message of support from a Swedish politician was read followed by an opening speech. The Stockholm exhibition marked a successful start for the exhibition’s forthcoming tour of Nordic countries.
  • Sweden: Anti-torture Exhibition in Lund City

    On June 4th, practitioners from Malmo and Lund in southern Sweden, along with practitioners from Copenhagen in Denmark, went to Medan square in Lund to hold an anti-torture exhibition. Before the scheduled activity started, it was cloudy and raining. Practitioners set up display boards and about twenty minutes later, the sun came out.
  • Switzerland: Anti-Torture Exhibition during a Parliament Meeting

    On 8th June, a Swiss Parliament meeting was held and Falun Gong practitioners held another anti-torture exhibition and collected signatures in the busy streets. The persecution of Falun Gong in Mainland China got a lot worse recently, so Falun Gong practitioners urged the parliament members gathered in Bern to do all they can to help stop the persecution.
  • Switzerland: International Art Exhibition held in Basel

    The Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance International Art Exhibition was held from May 2nd to May 5th 2005 in a Basel library that is situated in a park. There were large glass windows on both sides of the room, which allowed passersby to see the pictures from outside. It was the perfect place for the exhibition.
  • United Kingdom: "Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance International Art Exhibition” in London

    The "Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance International Art Exhibition” was successfully held in central London between May 31st and June 3rd. The exhibition gallery was located in a traditional building just opposite the British Museum. The touching displays attracted many visitors including tourists from around the world.
  • Slovakia: People of Malacky learn about the CCP’s Persecution Against Falun Gong

    Practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and distributed flyers to let more people know about the cruel persecution waged against Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for the last six years. This persecution has taken over 2,500 lives, as practitioners have been systematically tortured to death at the hands of Chinese officials.
  • Germany: Sunny Weather and Bright Spirits in the Old Coastal Town of Rostock

    Early in the morning of May 28th 2005, we arrived at the ancient University Square in Rostock and chose a shady spot for our Falun Gong information stall. We quickly finished setting up and soon the first passers-by received flyers with information about the persecution of Falun Gong by the Communist Government in China. We took turns demonstrating the five sets of Falun Gong exercises. We informed some of the nearby tradesmen about our activities and one of the practitioners walked around the busier shopping streets while distributing flyers.
  • Finland: Anti-Torture Exhibition Helps People See Through the Lies of the Chinese Communist Party

    On June 14th 2005, Falun Gong practitioners from Sweden, Norway, Germany, Ukraine, Latvia, Russia, Spain, Italy and Taiwan attended an anti-torture exhibition held by Finnish practitioners in the central park of Helsinki. Most of the practitioners came directly from the European Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference that was held in Stockholm.
  • Germany: Local People Support the Anti-Torture Exhibition in Wuppertal

    Falun Gong practitioners from the German state of North Rhine Westfalia held an anti-torture exhibition there. When passers-by saw posters depicting the cruel torture methods used in attempts to force Falun Gong practitioners to renounce their beliefs, they were shocked at the human rights violations happening in China.
