Teeth Knocked Out and Toenails Torn Off -- The Torture Endured by Practitioner Mr. Li Shaotie from Helongjiang Province

In September 2004, police sent Mr. Li Shaotie to the Shuihua Forced Labour Camp. Within two days they began to torture him. Guards kicked Mr. Li in his legs over 100 times, from top to bottom, using their military shoes. One guard shouted at him, "Do you still want to practise?" Mr. Li replied, "Yes." The guard then ground on Mr. Li's toenail with the heel of his shoes. Fresh blood spurted from his foot and two of his toenails were torn off. Mr. Li fainted. -
Shibalihe Women's Forced Labour Camp Lied about the Death of Ms. Sun Guilan
2005-03-28The forced labour camp personnel forbade others to speak to nearly 60 year old Ms. Sun and ordered her to do heavy labour, which placed tremendous mental and physical pressure on her. One morning, she went early as usual to clean the toilets and she fainted next to a water pond outside the garage. She must have passed away because the camp personnel spread the rumour that she committed suicide because of guilt. Practitioners, however, investigated and found that she did not commit suicide but from the persecution of Zhengzhou Forced Labour Camp instead. -
Reenactment of Torture Methods in Fangzheng County Detention Centre

Police heads interrogated using torture, and beat practitioners brutally with a whip and strap for three to five hours. They were beaten until they had cuts and bruises over their whole bodies, and suffered extreme pain everywhere. This is just one of the brutal tortures. -
I Personally Witnessed the Brutal Persecution of My Mother
2005-03-27My mother Xu Shuqin is a Falun Gong practitioner. In October 2001, she went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Gong. Since then she has been detained and brainwashed on three occasions. I have personally witnessed some of the cruel treatment that she has been subjected to. -
11-Year-Old Boy: I Had a Happy Family in the Past
2005-03-27I am a young Falun Dafa practitioner in China, aged 11 this year. I had a happy family in the past, but now only my grandmother and I remain, and we are dependent upon each other for survival. My father and uncle were sentenced to forced labour for 12 and 8 years respectively, and my mother was forced to leave home to avoid constant hounding by the police. My grandfather was so badly traumatized by the suffering that he passed away at the end of June 2004 and left us forever. -
Retired Teacher Mr. Zhao Yong and his Wife were Arrested in Baotou City: His Life Is in Danger
2005-03-27Mr. Zhao Yong is a retired teacher of the Railroad Workers School in Baotou City, Inner Mongolia. Both Mr. Zhao and his wife Cao Huifang are Falun Gong practitioners. They were both sentenced to prison after their third abduction by the police in May 2003. Ms. Cao is being held at the Hohhot Women's Prison. Mr. Zhao is in critical condition at the Donghe District Detention Centre. -
Elderly Ms. Liu Lian'e from Shandong Province Died in 2003 After Mental and Physical Torture
2005-03-26Ms. Liu Lian'e was a 66 year old doctor and was a steadfast practitioner of Falun Gong. She was harassed constantly by the Neighbourhood Administration and local police, and forced to go through brainwashing. The abuse she suffered severely harmed her both mentally and physically and illnesses she had had prior to practising Falun Dafa returned. She died on February 23, 2003. -
Torture Methods in Heilongjiang Women's Prison: "Hang Up" and Injection with Drugs
2005-03-26The "Hang Up" torture method raises cuffed hands and feet just off the ground and is not permitted according to prison rules. However, in Heilongjiang Women's Prison, officers adopted this vicious technique to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. Inmates hung Ms Zhang Jing's handcuffs to the highest place on the bed, and left her hanging there for 20 to 30 minutes until she agreed to wear prison clothes. The handcuffs cut deeply into her flesh. Marks remained on her skin for two days, and her left thumb continues to experience numbness. -
The Sad Plight of Mr. Dou's Family
2005-03-26For the past five years, many Falun Dafa practitioners who cultivate Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance have gone through all kinds of torture and abuse. According to reports, at least twenty practitioners are killed as a result of the persecution per week in recent years. The Dou family all practise Falun Dafa. As a result they have been subjected to untold misery and suffering. The son and his wife were detained and tortured. Their newborn child died due to police harassment and the family were split up causing heartache to everyone. -
Further Details of the Death by Torture of Ms. Du Guilan
2005-03-26On February 6th 2003, the Minghui website (the Chinese counterpart of Clearwisdom.net) published information about the death of Du Guilan, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province. Police officials claimed at the time that Ms. Du died after jumping from the second floor of a building. Local practitioners doubted the truth of this, and thought it more likely that Ms. Du was tortured to death by police officers. What follows are further details that have since been uncovered. -
Ms. Lou Yan Suffered Persecution Nine Times Before Passing Away
2005-03-25Ms. Lou Yan, a determined Falun Gong practitioner from the Tiexi District, Anshan City, Liaoning Province, was detained ten times. She was sent to a mental hospital and forcibly injected with drugs. She was tortured to disability and to the brink of death many times. Later, the perpetrators sent the disabled Ms. Lou to the Liaoning Province Women's Prison (former Dabei Prison) at Shenyang City for a five-year term. Ms. Lou was tortured to the brink of death in the prison. To avoid responsibility in case she died in prison, the prison allowed her to serve the rest of her term outside of prison... -
Heilongjiang Province Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Guo Ailing Died in 2001 as a Result of Persecution-Related Illnesses
2005-03-25Ms. Guo Ailing was in her 40's. The breast cancer she used to have was healed once she started to practise Falun Dafa. She went to Beijing to appeal in October 1999, was detained, and forced to publicly criticize herself in her workplace. From that point on, the police came to her home to harass her all the time. The stress of this harassment harmed her severely both mentally and physically. Her previous illness returned in 2001, and she died as a result of the persecution. -
Torture Methods Used in the Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioners in Weifang City

At the end of December 1999, staff of the Family Planning Office forced Falun Dafa practitioners to stand on a cold cement floor, poured water about 5 centimetres deep onto the floor and kept the practitioners standing there for 7 days and nights. -
Yang Yanping Sues Nanshan Prison Supervisors for Torturing Her Husband Cui Zhilin to Death
2005-03-25“My husband, Cui Zhilin, was 43 years old when police arrested him for practising Falun Dafa in September 2002. He was sentenced to 11 years and jailed in the Jinzhou Ctiy Nanshan Prison. On August 5, around 1 p.m., I received a phone call from the police telling me my husband had died the previous day, after jumping off the building during an interrogation session. Judging from the wounds on his body, my husband did not jump off a building and must have been tortured to death.” -
