Elderly Practitioner Ms. Zeng Weibi from Chongqing Was Tortured To Death
2004-07-16
Ms. Zeng Weibi was 66 years old from Chongqing City. She was arrested and sent to a detention centre three times and endured brutal torture. After prolonged torture, harassment, constant monitoring and being threatened, this elderly woman could no longer hold up and became ill. On May 25, 2003, she passed away with wounds all over her body. She was able to defeat all of her diseases through practising Falun Gong. However, she was killed by the police. -
More Than 50 Falun Dafa Practitioners Shackled and Hung Up by their Handcuffs at Guizhou Province Prison
2004-07-16At Dujun Prison in Guizhou Province, the authorities posted articles defaming Falun Dafa and the Teacher. On May 20, 2004, a practitioner took them down, and immediately the police went on a rampage to punish practitioners: more than fifty practitioners were handcuffed and hung up by their shackles. -
Jilin City Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Liu Yuzhu Passed Away (Photo)
2004-07-15Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Liu Yuzhu from Jilin City suffered inhuman abuses in Changchun City Heizuizi Labour Camp, which damaged her physical and mental health severely. After being released from the labour camp, she was still often harassed by local lawless personnel. Her health deteriorated due to the abuses and harassments, she passed away on June 12, 2004. -
Practitioner Ms. Cheng Zongzhan from Hebei Province Dies from the Persecution
2004-07-15Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Cheng Zongzhan was from Hebei Province, was repeatedly persecuted at a brainwashing centre. When they could not force Ms. Cheng into renouncing her belief, they hung her up by handcuffs outside during the freezing cold of winter, wearing only thin clothing. Cheng Zongzhan escaped from this brainwashing centre, but since then she had to stay away from home to avoid being arrested again. She died in May 2004 as a result of the injustices she suffered. -
The Brutal Torture of Falun Dafa Practitioners at Heizuizi Women's Prison in Jilin Province
2004-07-15From what we know, five steadfast Falun Dafa practitioners were persecuted to death at Heizuizi Women's Prison. They were Yu Lixin (36 years old) and Deng Shiying (40 years old), Wang Xiuyun (about 50 years old), Jiang Shuxian, and Han Cuiyuan. There are presently at least 200 Falun Dafa practitioners illegally detained in the prison. -
Practitioner Ms. Tang Meijun Tortured to Death at the Maojiashan Women's Forced Labour Camp in Chongqing City
2004-07-15On December 30, 2003, Ms. Tang died from torture at the Maojiashan Female Forced Labour Camp, Chongqing City. When Ms. Tang's family member asked the camp police, "Why is her body like that?" The amoral officers, falteringly, said: "Suicide." To ask for justice, the family members hired an attorney, but the police from the camp threatened, "The higher authorities have been cracking down Falun Gong for several years. Do you really have the guts to come to the camp to defend Falun Gong?" Under such despotic conditions, the attorney didn't dare to talk further. -
Shenzhen City Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Wang Xiaodong Dies from the Persecution
2004-07-14According to information from Shenzhen City "610 Office" in Guangdong Province, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Xiaodong passed away in July of 2003 after four months of hunger strike at a Detention Centre in Shenzhen City. her husband was also imprisoned there. It is said that their 11-year-old son, Li Xiang, was sent to an orphanage in Shenzhen City. -
Dafa Practitioner Ms. Cui Fue from Beijing Area Beaten to Death
2004-07-14In 2003, policeman Wang Xuehua, arrested Ms. Cui and forced her to labour for one hundred days at the police station. On June 3, 2003, he led a group of policemen to beat Ms. Cui brutally. As a result, she lost hearing in both ears, and she suffered severe internal injuries. Her kidneys were injured. Even so, she was still forced to do hard labour. After she was released, she was bedridden because of the injuries she suffered at the police station. On August 3, 2003, Ms. Cui passed away. -
Mr. Guo Jiaxiang, An Elderly Practitioner in Shanxi Province, Died from Persecution in 1999
2004-07-14Mr. Guo Jiaxiang was a practitioner in his 60's from Linfen City, Shanxi Province. He benefitted both physically and mentally from practising Falun Dafa and his heart disease was cured. One day after July 20, 1999, a fully armed anti-riot team, armed soldiers, and local police broke into his home and forcibly took away all of his Falun Dafa books. He tried his best to protect the books, but to no avail. He was very sad and grieved, and the next morning, his family found that he had passed away. -
Dafa Practitioner Ms. Gao Rongrong's Face Severely Disfigured by Seven Hours of Electric Baton Torture in the Longshan Labour Camp (Warning: Graphic Photos)
2004-07-13The guards at the Longshan Labour Camp in Shenyang City shocked 36-year-old Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Gao Rongrong's face and other parts of her body for nearly seven hours with electric batons, which severely disfigured her face. Even inmates who had lived with her day and night for a long time could not recognize her. A photo shows her face after the blisters had dried up, with the scars still present. The scars on some parts of her face are thick, which shows the severity of the electric shock. -
Twelve Falun Gong Practitioners from Eight Provinces Are Confirmed Dead in the Persecution during the First Half of June
2004-07-13So far, twelve Falun Gong practitioners (seven women and five men) from Anhui, Hebei, Hunan, Sichuan, Jilin, Liaoning, Guangdong and Hainan Provinces have been confirmed dead in the persecution during the first half of June. Some of them were tortured to death, some died as a result of the abuse they suffered earlier, and others died after being forcibly injected with drugs harmful to their central nervous system. -
Information about the Death of Dafa Practitioner Ms. Peng Chunrong from Chongqing City
2004-07-13Ms. Peng Chunrong was a Dafa practitioner living in the Chongqing City area. On February 19, 2004, she was abducted by police while clarifying the truth. The local government took this opportunity to intimidate and extort money from Peng's husband, saying that Peng would be released if he turned in several thousand Yuan. Since her husband had no money she was sent to a brainwashing class, where she was subjected to inhuman torture. In mid-April of 2004, the police tortured Peng to death in a courtroom close to the town police station. -
The Crimes of the Police at the Heizuizi Female Forced Labour Camp in Jilin Province
2004-07-12Zhang Guimei directly and indirectly persecuted many Falun Gong practitioners. She compiled the "Practical Textbook" sold at a fixed price of 20 yuan, which every Falun Gong practitioner detained at the camp was forced to purchase and study. She was unlawfully making money and at the same time trying to brainwash the practitioners. The contents of the book mainly vilified and slandered Falun Gong and violated the Constitution of China. The book also contained the clauses of the illicit laws used to persecute Falun Gong. -
Shanxi Women's Labour Camp Cruelly Persecutes Falun Dafa Practitioners
2004-07-12For practitioners who are steadfast in their belief, there is a "strict team," which is led by guards and composed of drug-addicted criminals. The "strict team" tortures practitioners both mentally and physically. They use various methods, including sleep deprivation and squatting for long periods of time. The meals they serve consist of one third of a 100-gram steamed bun and lots of water. After the meal, practitioners are forbidden to use the toilet. -
Falun Dafa Practitioners Cruelly Tortured at Taihang Prison in Baoding City
2004-07-12Headed by prison director Zhao Jingzhou, Taihang Prison has been doing its utmost to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. It has played a huge role in persecuting Falun Dafa in Baoding City, and in the entire Hebei Province. Taihang Prison has two divisions, one for men, the other for women. Many Dafa practitioners from various places are detained there and forced to do hard labour for long periods of time. The prison mainly produces canvas and sacks.
