2004-05-07"For more than four years, in China, Falun Gong practitioners have been the target of a campaign of terror and genocide led by the ex-Party chief Jiang Zemin – more than 900 have been tortured to death, more than 100,000 incarcerated in forced labour camps without trial, thousands have been forced into psychiatric hospitals; women, children and the elderly are not spared. Jiang Zemin is being sued for torture, genocide and crimes against humanity in North America, Asia and Europe." -
Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners’ Banner Reading “Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice” Draws Attention during Wen Jiabao’s Visit
2004-05-07During Premier Wen Jiabao’s visit to Berlin, Falun Gong practitioners unfurled banners that read, “Welcome Wen Jiabao” and “Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice”. However the Chinese delegation requested to remove the banner reading “Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice”, saying that to “bring Jiang to justice” is to sentence him to death. German psychiatrists said this indicated that those who participated in the persecution and those who protected the participants are very clear about the consequence of their actions in terms of international law. -

2004-05-07The Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao visited Belgium on May 5th. Falun Gong practitioners from Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and France appealed in the capital, Brussels. 2004-05-07'Before the Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao visited Germany, the police department in Germany acknowledged that during Jiang Zemin’s visit to Germany the year before last, certain police behaviour meted out to Falun Gong practitioners was illegal. They also promised from now on they will improve communications with Falun Gong practitioners when they engage in appeals and demonstrations during visits by Chinese officials.' -

2004-05-06On the 2nd day of Wen Jiabao’s visit to Germany, practitioners appealed to bring Jiang Zemin to justice outside Wen's Hotel. Jiang also stayed here in April last year. Just days ago, the German Federal Criminal Bureau officially admitted that its actions against practitioners outside this Hotel during Jiang’s visit were against the law. -

2004-05-06UK Falun Gong practitioners held a symbolic trial of Jiang in London on April the 24th and 25th in commemoration of the 5th anniversary of "4.25." In addition, a press conference was held at the Chinese embassy on April the 25th announcing that UK Falun Gong practitioners planned to sue Jiang for his crimes of genocide and torture. The UK choir also sang a chorus. -

2004-05-06'A secondary school in the city of Brugg held a week of activities with China as the theme. The activities gave students from the second year an opportunity to understand China from many perspectives. They saw the many bright sides of China as well as the bad side. A picture of a huge Buddha was hung with a couplet at the entrance to the hall where Zhang Cuiying’s art exhibition was held, making it very clear that the activity's theme was China. After learning the truth, many passing tourists signed a petition calling for an end to these criminals' violations of human rights. -

2004-05-06Italian practitioners commemorated “4.25” by sending righteous thoughts, demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises and letting people know more about Falun Gong. On the sides of the stone bridge we hung up banners reading “Falun Dafa is Good”, “Truthfulness Compassion Tolerance” “Bring Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing, Zhou Yongkang to Justice” and “The Laws are Just, Bring Jiang Zemin to Trial”, as well as lots of posters showing Falun Gong exercises. -
EFGIC: 31-year-old Woman Beaten to Death for Falun Gong Practice
2004-05-05LONDON (EFGIC) – On April 1st, 2004, Chinese police ransacked the home of Ms. Huang Zhao and her husband, stealing valuables and detaining the couple who both practise Falun Gong. Two weeks later, Huang was dead. Witnesses say by the second day of her detention, Huang had been severely beaten and could no longer walk. -
Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Appeal to Visiting Wen Jiabao
2004-05-05On May the 2nd, Falun Dafa practitioners handed over both German and Chinese versions of an open letter to the Chinese Embassy in Germany and asked them to pass on it to Wen Jiabao who is visiting there. A desk clerk received the letter. In the meantime, the letter was read aloud at the appeal activities in the afternoon. -
