2007-01-03On December 10th, 2006, Austrian Falun Gong practitioners organised an activity in the famous tourist city of Salzburg to raise awareness about the horrible seven year persecution of Falun Gong practitioner by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Many passersby signed the petition condemning the persecution. -
United Kingdom: Practitioners Again Invited to London New Year’s Day Parade
2007-01-02On January 1st 2007, UK Falun Gong Practitioners were again invited to take part in London’s New Year’s Day Parade. This year, for a change, the weather was gloriously sunny and as a result, the streets from Whitehall to Mayfair were thronged with onlookers from all over the world. As usual, the reaction of the crowd was warm. Many people got to learn about Falun Gong and witnessed the beauty of the practice through this parade. -

Austrian Newspaper Reports a Lawsuit against the Perpetrators of the Persecution of Falun Gong
2007-01-01On December 16th, an Austrian newspaper carried a report from the Austrian Press Agency. The report said that a lawsuit against several chief perpetrators of the persecution of Falun Gong had been recently filed in Vienna. The report said that a lawsuit against Liu Qi has been filed to the Vienna Procuratorate. Liu is the president of the Beijing Olympic Games Organising Committee. The Austrian Falun Gong Association charged Liu and three other high ranking Chinese Communist Party officials with “Genocide and Crimes against Humanity.” -
Romania: President of Romania Condemns the Communist Regime as “Illegitimate and Criminal”
2006-12-31Romanian President Traian Basescu condemned the Communist regime as “illegitimate and criminal” in a speech delivered at a special Romanian Parliament session on the 18th of December 2006. “For the Romanian citizens, Communism was a regime imposed by a political group self-entitled as a truth keeper, a totalitarian regime born of violence, and ended through violence", he said. "It violated the law and forced citizens to live in lies and fear.” -
Bremer Tageszeitung (Germany): Highlighting the brutal organ harvesting and protesting against the horror of the Chinese camps
2006-12-31"Vegesack: A German-Chinese human rights group attracted lots of attention last Saturday in the local outdoor shopping district. Activists were protesting against the forced removal of organs from political prisoners in China. The group had erected a cage surrounding Rosa Jansohn of Ritterhude in the vicinity of the former Kramer’s department store. They explained that similar cages are used in Chinese labour camps, where enclosed inmates are partially immersed in water for hours on end. If the prisoners get too sleepy, they are likely to drown."
