The Beijing Olympics and the 1936 Berlin Olympics - Similarities and Differences

British newspaper The Times and some U.S. Congressmen have equated the Beijing Olympics with the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Not surprisingly, the comparison triggered an immediate protest from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). But what of the comparison? Let's go back and look at what occurred around the Berlin Olympics. -

2008-04-21A relative of mine in his 40s used to have many bad habits. He was a hooligan in the village. He bullied and terrorized villagers and even cursed and beat up his parents. He drifted through life, doing nothing but eating, drinking, gambling, and leading a life of debauchery. Falun Dafa Saved My Life
2008-04-20During the ten days I was hospitalized, I had not been able to eat or drink. Upon returning home, I could drink water. I started listening to Falun Dafa lectures on audio tape. Several days later, I could eat and get around without any medical treatment. My condition improved day by day. I used to suffer from arthritis and my hands were so swollen that I could not do housework. I had tried various forms of medical treatment but they all failed. After listening to the lectures, I could not only practice the exercises, but also walk two miles. Everyone who came to visit me thought that Dafa was so miraculous! -
