As the world focuses on Hong Kong and the controversial Article 23 legislation, a well-made film was broadcast to 8 million people in Sweden.

Employing comments from Members of the European Parliament, Professors, VIPs, representatives of human rights organisations, and social groups, the 25-minute film reported on the danger of the proposed subversion law, the Hong Kong people’s opposition to it along with their desire to preserve freedom and human rights, and the evil nature of the persecution of peaceful Falun Gong practitioners in China.

When Hong Kong was returned to China in 1997, the Chinese Government promised to uphold the “One Country, Two Systems” principle for 50 years. However, after only six years, Hong Kong is forced enact Article 23. One strong comment was: "During the history of the Communist Party's regime, there has never been any freedom for the Chinese people. Has anyone felt safe under the Communist Party's rule?"

Hong Kong people from all walks of life and people who treasure freedom and human rights all over the world are speaking out against Article 23; their voice is strong and cannot be ignored.
