Sweden: “Help the people of Hong Kong to keep their rights to freedom of expression, belief and association.”

On 28 June 2003, as part of the global action against the implementation of Article 23 in Hong Kong, practitioners in several Swedish cities informed the public about the threat of Hong Kong’s new national security bill. When the Swedish people heard that the Jiang regime is about to implement its tyrannical laws in Hong Kong, they shook their heads in despair and said things like, “Hong Kong is moving in the wrong direction! I wish you success in your effort to help the Hong Kong people.”

Many Swedish people approached practitioners and asked to sign a petition supporting the Hong Kong people. One young lady signed the petition and then insisted that her partner should sign too. A lady who had lived in Hong Kong for several years was very unhappy about the new law. One elderly gentleman said that he had been in both China and Hong Kong, and he liked the Chinese people: But how can a few people who call themselves leaders betray their own citizens?
