  • Belgium: Practitioners Protest Against Singapore Government’s False Charges

    Falun Gong practitioners in Belgium gathered in front of the Singapore Embassy to protest the Singapore government’s unreasonable trial of six practitioners on the charge of "assembly without a permit". They urgently called on the Singaporean authorities to drop the charges and not to help the Chinese communist regime persecute Falun Gong
  • Germany: Falun Gong Association Protests at the Singapore Embassy

    "Six Falun Gong practitioners were in twos or threes distributing materials about the persecution of Falun Gong in mainland China on Wujie road. The party concerned did not have an intention of breaking Singaporean law. In such a condition, as soon as the police pointed it out, the party concerned removed their banners and abided by the order. We feel it very difficult to understand why the court in Singapore insisted on seizing this point and striking Falun Gong practitioners without considering the outcome if they do not have any political factors behind them."
  • Slovakia: Welcoming the New Year at the Chinese Embassy in Bratislava

    The coming of the new year is a good reason for celebration, but for a few followers of Falun Gong at the Chinese Embassy in Bratislava it had a symbolic meaning. They welcomed the arrival of a New Year in peaceful meditation. Meditation has symbolic value at the Chinese Embassy because it is China that for seven years has persecuted followers of this spiritual system.
  • Czech Republic: Peaceful Protest at the Chinese Embassy in Prague

    On New Year‘s Eve, a group of Falun Gong practitioners peacefully protested at the Chinese Embassy in Prague, in the Czech Republic. They reminded themselves and others of the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China, where thousands of practitioners are tortured to death or have their organs removed while still alive in Chinese prisons and labour camps.
  • Norway/Sweden: On World Human Rights Day, the Nordic People Support the Sixteen Million Withdrawals from the CCP

    To mark World Human Rights Day, people from Nordic countries held a parade and rally in the Norwegian capital Oslo and the Swedish capital Stockholm, on December 9th and 10th respectively, to support the sixteen million withdrawals from the CCP and its related organisations. People watched the parade, asking questions and taking leaflets with a smile.

  • Austria: World Human Rights Day: Falun Gong Practitioners Expose the Atrocities Commited by the CCP

    Austrian practitioners held an activity in Salzburg on World Human Rights Day which drew much attention. They told onlookers and passersby, “We are here to draw everyone’s attention to the inhumane persecution happening to Falun Gong practitioners in China, and calling for your help to end this suppression.”
  • Russia: Russian Falun Gong Practitioners Protest against the Singapore Court

    On December 7th, 2006, representatives from the Russian Falun Gong Association went to the Singapore Embassy in Russia to hand in a protest letter regarding the Singapore court’s wrong verdict against two Falun Gong practitioners. They strongly condemned the Singapore authorities' shameful conduct carried out in order to flatter the CCP. The letter calls for an immediate release of the illegally imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners and urges the Singapore authorities to stop helping a tyrant to do evil.
  • Czech Republic: Exposing the CCP's Persecution of Falun Gong to the People of Prague

    November 17th, 2006, was the Seventh Anniversary of the Czech Communist Party’s dissolution. On this day, Czech Falun Gong practitioners took the opportunity to hold a series of activities to introduce Falun Gong and expose the persecution of the practice by the CCP in China.
  • Finland: Exposing the CCP's Atrocities in China during an EU Leaders Meeting

    A freezing cold wind was blowing that day when practitioners arrived in Lahti. They went to the place assigned for all demonstrators. After midday, the practitioners held a small parade that went through the city centre. They had boards with words “No CCP” (Chinese Communist Party) in Finnish, Russian and English. The parade got a lot of support from the public. Many people's faces lit up when they got a flyer. One old man who owned a small shop came out to thank practitioners and said, “It is a very good thing that you bring up this issue.”
  • Austria: Practitioners Gather at the Singapore Consulate and Request the Withdrawal of an Unjust Indictment

    On August 23rd, 2006, practitioners in Austria held an activity in front of the Singapore Consulate to protest the Singapore police's indictment of Falun Gong practitioners under the charge of "illegal assembly." The Falun Dafa Association of Austria handed over an open letter to the Singapore Consulate.
  • Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Welcome Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao to Hamburg and Expose the Persecution of Falun Gong

    During the state visit by Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao, German Falun Gong practitioners arranged several activities to expose the persecution of Falun Gong by the Communist regime in China. Among Wen's entourage was Chinese Commerce Minister Bo Xilai, who is heavily involved in the persecution of Falun Gong.
  • Sweden: Falun Gong Practitioners Protest against Bo Xilai in the Royal Plaza

    Regarding Chinese Commerce Minister Bo Xilai’s visit to Sweden, Falun Gong practitioners held a press conference in a park on September 14th to inform the media, government and Royal Family that Bo Xilai committed crimes of murder and torture as part of the persecution of Falun Gong when he was the mayor of Dalian and governor of Liaoning Province.
  • Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Appeal on the Eve of Wen Jiabao's Visit to Germany

    A Falun Gong human rights working group in Germany sent an open letter to the German Government, media and citizens, appealing for attention to China’s human rights conditions on the eve of Wen Jiabao’s visit to Germany, from September 13th - 15th. The letter mentions Gao Zhisheng, a prominent Chinese lawyer and active human rights campaigner who has been illegally detained by the Chinese Communist Party since August 15th, 2006. He openly wrote letters to the CCP leaders disclosing the situation of innocent Falun Gong practitioners being cruelly persecuted.
  • United Kingdom: Protest Opposite Downing Street during Wen Jiabao’s Visit

    One of the main focuses of the practitioners' protest was the recent organ harvesting atrocities that have been exposed worldwide. Practitioners held banners that called for organ harvesting to stop and also handed out Falun Gong Today newspapers that gave the public detailed and undeniable evidence that these atrocities are ongoing.
