Ms. Liu Yuzhu Persecuted to Death, Leaving 17 Year Old Son Orphaned in Jilin City

Liu Yuzhu suffered electric shocks from batons and forced-feeding in a labour camp, because she would not renounce Falun Dafa. After her release continuous harassment and a weakened body led to her death in June 2004. She has left behind a 17 year old son and husband. -
Falun Gong Practitioners Mr. Zhang Honghuai and Ms. Zhou Liru Pass Away as a Result of the Persecution

64-year-old Mr. Zhang Honghuai from Jilin Province was sentenced to two years of forced labour for practising Falun Gong. He was tortured, which resulted in the relapse of the liver disease he had prior to Falun Gong. Although released, local authorities still often went to his home to harass him. Suffering from both serious mental and physical trauma, he died in November 2004. 50 year old Ms. Zhou Liru lived in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. she also suffered from serious mental and physical trauma, which led to her death in October 2004. -
79 Year Old Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Qu Baifu from Liaoning Province Died from Persecution in 2001
2005-02-17Mr. Qu Baifu was 79 years old. After July 20, 1999, Jiang Zemin ordered the "610 Office" to systematically follow his genocidal policy to "ruin their reputations, bankrupt them financially, and destroy them physically." Police repeatedly came to his home to harass and threaten him. They ransacked his house looking for Falun Dafa material. Mr. Qu's son, daughter-in-law, second and third daughter were all sentenced to forced labour, which devastated Mr. Qu. He died on August 27, 2001 as the result of the cruel persecution. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Chen Huakun Died Destitute and Homeless at Age of 75 as a Result of Persecution
2005-02-17Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Chen Huakun was 75 years old and lived in Suining City. After he started cultivating Falun Dafa in June 1997, he became healthy. He clarified the truth to people, and as a result he was targeted by officials. He had to become destitute and homeless in order to avoid being arrested. As a result of the severe persecution, he died on December 18, 2003. -
Mr. Zhang Ruiyou Dies as a Result of Police Harassment in Hebei Province in 2000
2005-02-17Mr. Zhang Ruiyou was in his 40's and lived in Wei County, Hebei Province. He was very healthy as he cultivated Falun Dafa with a firm and steady faith. The local "610 Office" started to harass him in January 2000. Twice they arrested Mr. Zhang. He died in December 2000 after repeated abuse from the authorities. -
Ms Liu Tongling, in Her Fifties, Was Persecuted to Death at Heilongjiang Women's Forced Labour Camp in 2003
2005-02-16Ms. Liu Tongling, a 52 year old Falun Dafa practitioner, was sent to Heilongjiang Women's Forced Labour Camp for practising Falun Gong in October 2003. The forced labour camp tried to forcibly "transform" her by brutal beating and freezing her unclothed body (in November and in the basement). In November 2003, wearing no trousers or socks, she was tortured to death on the metal chair in the basement. -
Practitioner Ms. Qiu Aihua from Shandong Province Passed Away As a Result of Abuse from Authorities and Her Husband
2005-02-16Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Qiu Aihua was 44 years old. After she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in 2000, she was tortured so badly that she became disfigured. The authorities also fired both her husband and her from their jobs. Therefore, her husband was furious with her and often beat her. As a result of the persecution, Qiu Aihua suffered immense physical and mental distress and passed away on June 26, 2004. -
Elderly Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Jia Cuiying from Hunan Province was Tortured to Death
2005-02-15Ms. Jia Cuiying was 61 years old. She was a resident of Hunan Province. In late 2001, she was sentenced to a 5-year prison term without legal cause and detained at Hunan Province Women's Prison. Because of the several years of unlawful detention and persecution and cruel mental and physical torture, her old illnesses recurred. She was diagnosed with lung cancer in May 2004. She was released for medical treatment in June 2004. On October 20, 2004, Ms. Jia passed away. -
65 Year Old Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Chen Xinshi from Chongqing City Died in 2002 as a Result Persecution
2005-02-15Mr. Chen Xinshi was 65 years old and was steadfast in his cultivation of Falun Dafa. His wife and daughter, both practitioners, were locked up. The local officials often came to his home to harass him. They forced him to leave his home to avoid arrest, and he became destitute. His physical condition deteriorated during the persecution, and he died on April 13, 2002. -

2005-02-15There is no more severe pain in life than losing parents at a young age, losing a spouse in middle age, or losing children in old age. In the five years of persecution against Falun Gong, human tragedies have taken place in millions of Falun Gong practitioners' homes. Since July 1999, 1,300 deaths from persecution have been verified through various channels. The average age of those killed is 45. Most of them have left young children or elderly parents behind. With difficulty, the remaining family members carry on with their lives. -
Two Practitioners from Hubei Province Died in 2002 After Being Forced to Give Up Falun Gong
2005-02-15Mr. Liu Hongfa changed his bad temper and his body became strong and healthy, through practising Falun Dafa. But he was forced to attend a brainwashing class. Due to pressure on his family, they didn't allow him to practise at home. His health deteriorated and he passed away in October 2002. Ms. Hao Fengru was tortured severely because she held fast to her faith. Her family also stopped her from practising when she returned home and she passed away in July 2002. -
Another Chinese New Year Without Reunion for Thousands of Broken Families - Part I (Photos)
2005-02-14Chinese New Year is a time when families get together and celebrate the holidays. For Falun Dafa practitioners the most important traditional Chinese holiday for get-togethers and happiness has lost its meaning. The persecution has broken up countless families. Some families lost one member, and some lost several. Children have lost their parents; wives became separated from husbands; the elderly were deprived of the warmth and care of their children. Many Falun Gong practitioners are unjustly held in prisons, labour camps and detention centres where they are subjected to severe physical and mental abuse. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner, Mr. Cheng Zhiming from Hunan Province, Is Murdered by State Security Police
2005-02-14In October 2004, Hunan Province Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Cheng Zhiming was intentionally hit by a car in an accident created by the Xiangtan City "610 Office" and the State Security police. There was a hole in the back of his head, and he bled terribly. The Central Hospital made a diagnosis that Mr. Cheng had bleeding inside his skull. One week later, his condition dramatically improved, and his condition became stable. On October 24, while he was still in the hospital, the "610 Office" sent a State Security agent to monitor him, and Mr. Cheng Zhiming suddenly died on October 25. -
The Persecution Takes the Lives of Three Lady Falun Dafa Practitioners from Heilongjiang Province
2005-02-14Three ladies, aged 61 years, 43 and 50+, were all arrested and incarcerated without proper legal process, because they had the courage to stand up for what they believed in: Truthfulness - Compassion - Tolerance. In a dangerous environment they bravely told people the facts about Falun Dafa and exposed the brutality of the regime that is persecuting practitioners. For this they were persecuted to death. -
Three More Falun Gong Practitioners are Now Known to Have Died of Persecution
2005-02-1462 year old Ms. Xu Xiufen from Liaoning Province was sentenced to forced labour. She was tortured brutally and her health deteriorated. Ms. Xu died in December 2004. In 2002, Mr. Fang Boying's children were arrested and persecuted for practising Falun Gong, which tormented him so much that he fell ill and passed away at the age of 74. Ms. Wang Chaoyin was harassed on numerous occasions by police. Her home was also ransacked and she was forced to write statements denouncing Falun Gong. Soon, old illnesses recurred. and Wang Chaoyin passed away in January 2000 at the age of 48.
