Five Falun Dafa Practitioners Young and Old Died Due to Persecution
2005-03-30
Five practitioners are known to have died as a result of mental and physical persecution. One 51 year old man was slapped and viciously beaten in a detention centre such that his internal organs were severely injured. During three years, his life was so miserable that each day felt like a year. His house was ransacked many times. Under constant threats and harassment, he died in October 2003. -
Elderly Practitioners Ms. Zhang Huanrong, Ms. Zhang Guiqin, Ms. Du Kerong and Mr. Ding Chunrong Died as a Result of Persecution
2005-03-29Four Falun Dafa practitioners, in their 60's, suffered gross injustices and maltreatment by the authorities that they passed away. One 62 year old lady was beaten so badly by police that she was severely wounded and traumatised. This led to her developing liver cancer, so she was sent home. However in October 2000, she passed away. Upon her death, she still had marks on her body from being beaten. -
Three Perscution Deaths of Elderly Practitioners from Liaoning Province, Hebei Province, and Shandong Province
2005-03-29Ms. Bu Cuiqin was 72 years old. Since she began cultivating Falun Dafa in 1996, all of her sicknesses disappeared.. She was abducted by police in May 2001 while passing out leaflets to expose the persecution, and was detained for one month in a detention centre. She was seriously injured during the detention, resulting in incontinence. She died in September 2001 after being released. -
Denied the Right to Practise Falun Gong, Four Falun Gong Practitioners Died from Extreme Stress and Illness
2005-03-29Ms. Zhao Shuzhen, 73, was harassed many times by local police. Two of her daughters were detained many times for practising Falun Gong, which increased the pressure on this lady when they were released. As a result of a series of blows and mental pressure, and under extreme threats and fear, the older lady Zhao Shuzhen suffered for three months and finally died in December 2004. -
Shibalihe Women's Forced Labour Camp Lied about the Death of Ms. Sun Guilan
2005-03-28The forced labour camp personnel forbade others to speak to nearly 60 year old Ms. Sun and ordered her to do heavy labour, which placed tremendous mental and physical pressure on her. One morning, she went early as usual to clean the toilets and she fainted next to a water pond outside the garage. She must have passed away because the camp personnel spread the rumour that she committed suicide because of guilt. Practitioners, however, investigated and found that she did not commit suicide but from the persecution of Zhengzhou Forced Labour Camp instead. -
Elderly Ms. Liu Lian'e from Shandong Province Died in 2003 After Mental and Physical Torture
2005-03-26Ms. Liu Lian'e was a 66 year old doctor and was a steadfast practitioner of Falun Gong. She was harassed constantly by the Neighbourhood Administration and local police, and forced to go through brainwashing. The abuse she suffered severely harmed her both mentally and physically and illnesses she had had prior to practising Falun Dafa returned. She died on February 23, 2003. -
Further Details of the Death by Torture of Ms. Du Guilan
2005-03-26On February 6th 2003, the Minghui website (the Chinese counterpart of Clearwisdom.net) published information about the death of Du Guilan, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province. Police officials claimed at the time that Ms. Du died after jumping from the second floor of a building. Local practitioners doubted the truth of this, and thought it more likely that Ms. Du was tortured to death by police officers. What follows are further details that have since been uncovered. -
Ms. Lou Yan Suffered Persecution Nine Times Before Passing Away
2005-03-25Ms. Lou Yan, a determined Falun Gong practitioner from the Tiexi District, Anshan City, Liaoning Province, was detained ten times. She was sent to a mental hospital and forcibly injected with drugs. She was tortured to disability and to the brink of death many times. Later, the perpetrators sent the disabled Ms. Lou to the Liaoning Province Women's Prison (former Dabei Prison) at Shenyang City for a five-year term. Ms. Lou was tortured to the brink of death in the prison. To avoid responsibility in case she died in prison, the prison allowed her to serve the rest of her term outside of prison... -
Heilongjiang Province Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Guo Ailing Died in 2001 as a Result of Persecution-Related Illnesses
2005-03-25Ms. Guo Ailing was in her 40's. The breast cancer she used to have was healed once she started to practise Falun Dafa. She went to Beijing to appeal in October 1999, was detained, and forced to publicly criticize herself in her workplace. From that point on, the police came to her home to harass her all the time. The stress of this harassment harmed her severely both mentally and physically. Her previous illness returned in 2001, and she died as a result of the persecution. -
Yang Yanping Sues Nanshan Prison Supervisors for Torturing Her Husband Cui Zhilin to Death
2005-03-25“My husband, Cui Zhilin, was 43 years old when police arrested him for practising Falun Dafa in September 2002. He was sentenced to 11 years and jailed in the Jinzhou Ctiy Nanshan Prison. On August 5, around 1 p.m., I received a phone call from the police telling me my husband had died the previous day, after jumping off the building during an interrogation session. Judging from the wounds on his body, my husband did not jump off a building and must have been tortured to death.” -
Elderly Mr. Cheng Huizhong from Hebei Province Dies as a Result of Persecution
2005-03-23Mr. Cheng Huizhong was 71 years old from Hebei Province. His illnesses were cured since starting to practise Falun Dafa. He was arrested and subsequently tortured by the police. He eventually suffered a mental collapse and could no longer take care of himself. Mr. Cheng never recovered and died in February 2005. -
50 Year Old Mr. Zheng Nianjie from Hebei Province Died in 2002
2005-03-2250 year old Mr. Zheng Nianjie used to be very weak and suffered from many illnesses. After practising Falun Dafa, he fully recovered. He was always very nice, honest, and had a kind heart. He was famous in the village for his good temperament. However, because he firmly kept his faith, he was persecuted many times and suffered numerous internal injuries. He died in October 2002 from torture in a labour camp. -
Thirteen More Falun Dafa Practitioners from China Are Known to Have Died Amidst the Persecution
2005-03-22Out of 13 more reported deaths as a result of persecution, 10 practitioners were over 50 years old and 3 were over 70, including an 83 year old lady. Through the practice of Falun Dafa all of these people experienced good health and curing of their illnesses. However once they were threatened, monitored and harassed constantly by local officials and police they were no longer allowed to practise the Falun Gong exercises or study the teachings and they lived in a state of fear and anxiety. As a result old illnesses resurfaced and they passed away. -

Ms Xu Fayue's right foot suffered third degree frostbite, with the first, third and fifth toes completely dead and emitting a foul odour, as a result of being locked up in temperatures of below minus 10 degree C. After nearly one month, most of her big toe, all of the third toe and part of the fifth toe of her right foot were amputated. -
70 Year Old Mr. Li Wenming from Hunan Province Was Persecuted to Death in 2002
2005-03-21Mr. Li Wenming, age 70, was a Falun Gong practitioner in Xiangtan City, Hunan Province. He and his wife, Mrs. Quan Huiping, continued to practise Falun Gong despite the persecution. For this, they suffered frequent abuse. On February 9, 2002, several corrupt policemen abducted Mr. Li from his home. Li Wenming died shortly thereafter. His wife, Mrs. Quan Huiping continued to be harassed by local policemen.
