Five Practitioners, Cured of Incurable Illnesses after Practising Falun Dafa, Died Under Enormous Emotional Stress of the Persecution

Ms. Wang Xiulan, 42, was a bank employee in Xizang Autonomous Region. She had hyperthyroidism and lung cancer. She was so ill that she went to her hometown of Linyi City, Shandong Province to make funeral arrangements. On February 20, 1999, Ms. Wang started practising Falun Dafa. Three days later, she was able to get out of bed and move around. Half a year later, she went to the hospital for an exam and found that all her illnesses had disappeared. However, she died on May 4, 2002 under the threats and harassment of the persecutors. -
Initial Investigation Report on the Death of Ms. Wang Lixuan and Her Son
2005-06-11Ms. Wang Lixuan was 27 years old. Her son Meng Hao was only eight months old. In October 2000, Ms. Wang Lixuan went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa. She took her son with her, holding him in her arms. On the morning of November 7, 2000, they were arrested by police on Tiananmen Square. Police took her to the Yantai Development Region's Beijing Liaison Office located on the 18th floor. Around 4 p.m., Ms. Wang Lixuan and her son plunged to their deaths from the 18th floor of that building. The circumstances of Ms. Wang Lixuan's and her baby son's death have still not been properly investigated. -
Eight Dafa Practitioners Died as a Result of Persecution in Heibei, Liaoning, Heilongjiang and Sichuan Provinces
2005-06-11Mr. Li Maoxun, 70 years old and a retired worker of the Dalian City Procuratorate in Liaoning Province, firmly cultivated Falun Gong, which resulted in a forced labour sentence and illegal incarceration at the Dalian Detention Centre for a year and a half. His son and daughter were sentenced to three years of forced labour since they had appealed on behalf of Falun Dafa in Beijing. The prolonged persecution and frequent attacks made Mr. Li ill. He passed away on March 31, 2005. -
Twenty-Three Falun Dafa Practitioners in Guangdong Province, Shanghai, Hebei Province, Shandong Province Passed Away Under Persecution
2005-06-11Practitioner Ms. Li Cuiyan, 48 years old, worked at the Qinhuangdao City Oil Piping Bureau in Hebei Province. She went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa and was brutally tortured. In August 2000 she was locked up in a detention centre. The guards beat her for practising the Falun Gong exercises. She held a hunger strike and was savagely beaten and force-fed by several guards. She was later sent to the notorious Changli County Brainwashing Class in Qinhuangdao City. After her release, the perpetrators continued to monitor and follow her, and she lived under tremendous mental pressure. She fell from the top of a five-story building and was paralysed. After four years of suffering, she passed away in March 2005. -
Photographic Evidence of Torture: Mr. Guo Shijun Dies from Injuries Received at the Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp

52 year old Mr. Guo Shijun suffered tortures such as being electrically shocked, and forced to sit bound to a metal chair in a forced labour camp. After one year of inhumane torture, and on the verge of death, he was sent back home. On February 9, 2005 he passed away, eight days after his release. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Jiang Yiyun from Sichuan Province Tortured to Death by Police
2005-06-10Several police officers from the State Security Bureau in Jiangyou City, Sichuan Province tortured Mr. Jiang Yiyun to death and discarded his body on May 17, 2005. The police then spread rumours that he had committed suicide. There were severe injuries on the head and face, and Mr Jiang's body was also covered with wounds from torture, making it clear that he was tortured to death. The police would not allow the family members to take the body. Instead, they shipped the body to a crematory for cremation that same morning. -
Seven Falun Gong Practitioners From Shandong, Guangdong, and Liaoning Provinces Pass Away from Persecution
2005-06-10Ms. Cao Guiying, 66, was a practitioner from Liaoning Province. In 1999 and 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal. She was unlawfully arrested, and sentenced to three years in a forced labour camp. Ongoing persecution in the labour camp caused Ms. Cao to develop an illness, and she was released to a hospital on bail. She passed away in July 2001. -
Elderly Mr Yang Xifeng, a Falun Dafa Practitioner from Hebei Province Died from Persecution in 2002
2005-06-09After he started practising Falun Gong, 60 year old Mr. Yang Xifeng recovered from his illnesses, including cerebral arteriosclerosis and diabetes. Ever since the persecution of Falun Dafa began on July 20, 1999, lawless persons from the police station and the street committee harassed him, searched his home, and arrested him. The police forcibly sent him to a detention centre to persecute him, which resulted in a relapse of his old illnesses. He became very weak and unable to keep his balance while walking. He died on October 24, 2002. -
Dafa Practitioner Mr. Wan Jixiang Has Died as a Result of Persecution
2005-06-09Mr. Wan Jixiang was an employee of the Yincheng City Department of Industry and Commerce in Hubei Province. He was cruelly persecuted at a detention centre. As a result, he became deaf in his left ear. On June 28, 2003, Mr. Wan was sentenced to Qingduankou Prison, where he suffered unbearable stress and had to perform excessive, hard labour. His hair turned grey, and the pain in his left ear intensified. On May 24, 2005, he died from the persecution. -
Over Twenty Dafa Practitioners from Jiangxi, Hubei, Inner Mongolia, Hebei and Sichuan Provinces Were Persecuted to Death
2005-06-09Mr. Zhang Jun, over 30 years old, was a practitioner from Jiangxi Province. At the beginning of 2000, he was persecuted and sentenced to a forced labour camp, where he was subjected to the torment of incarceration.. The team leader was especially vicious toward practitioners. He incited the prisoners to beat Mr. Zhang. Afterwards, Mr. Zhang was sent to the Gao'an Labour Camp for further persecution. As a result of the long-term torture, Mr. Zhang was reduced to a state of catatonia interspersed with episodes of incoherent murmuring. At the end of 2002, Mr. Zhang still refused to renounce his belief in Falun Gong. The camp officials were concerned that he might die in custody since his condition had seriously deteriorated. They released him and he died soon thereafter. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. He Lihua at the Brink of Death, Ms. Yang Yuhua Died During Force-Feeding; Practitioners in Daqing City Urgently Call for Help
2005-06-08Dafa practitioner, Ms. Yang Yuhua, a middle school teacher was arrested from her home on the evening of April 16, 2005. She was sent to Daqing Detention Centre, where she was savagely beaten and tortured. On May 12, many guards and inmates force-fed her, which caused her death. Ms. He Lihua is incarcerated at the same detention centre and has been holding a hunger strike since April. She was brutally force-fed. Right now her life is in danger. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Liu Chunhua from Beijing Dies Due to Persecution
2005-06-08Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Chunhua was arrested and taken to the Beijing Women's Forced Labour Camp in 2001. The camp guards directed drug addict prisoners and collaborators to torture her day and night. The beatings were severe, and Ms. Liu often screamed in pain. She was released after suffering a mental collapse from the torture, and she died in early 2005 after falling from a building. -
Sixteen Falun Dafa Practitioners from Shandong, Gansu, Hunan, and Zhejiang Province Died Due to the Persecution
2005-06-0873 year old Ms. Dong Linrong was handicapped before she practised Falun Gong. She looked pale and sickly. Her festering leg wounds that she had suffered for several decades were cured when she started to practise Falun Gong. After the persecution started in 1999, Ms. Dong told people the truth about Falun Dafa. Therefore, the local police arrested her. The police came frequently to her home, confiscated her property and threatened her family. Even Ms. Dong's relatives were implicated in the persecution. Ms. Dong was harassed for a long time and suffered because of the pressure from her family and from the authorities. She was mentally traumatised. She became semi-paralysed in September 2004 and died in March 2005. -
Two Older Practitioners Died from the Persecution They Endured in the Heizuizi Women's Labour Camp
2005-06-07Two elderly Dafa practitioners, 63 year old Ms. Guan Shuying and 59 year old Li Jinrong died recently due to enormous mental and physical pains inflicted by tortures that they suffered at the Heizuizi Women's Labour Camp in Changchun City, Jilin Province. Because she was so determined, the guard beat and shocked Guan Shuying repeatedly. She lost consciousness several times during the tortures. Li Jinrong also suffered repeated electric shocking and slaps from a guard causing partial paralysis in her body. -
Ten Practitioners Who Died as a Result of Persecution
2005-06-07Mr. Ma Laidong was repeatedly persecuted for telling people the truth about Falun Dafa and explaining that practitioners are innocent people being wrongfully persecuted. He had been sent to detention centres and brainwashing centres, where he was cruelly tortured. After being released, he was often followed and monitored. They also forced him not to practise Falun Dafa, thus his past illnesses recurred and he became extremely weak. He died in October 2004.
