Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Li Kaide Killed in Late July 1999

In July 1999, Mr. Li Kaide went to Beijing to tell the facts of Falun Dafa together with fellow practitioners. Police found them through a mobile phone locator, and he was arrested by police. The next day whilst being taken back to his hometown by police in a car, the car was involved in an accident. Mr. Li Kaide was killed because his hands were cuffed. -
Elderly Ms. Yu Li Died in September After Being Tortured at Dabei Prison

Ms. Yu Li, a Falun Gong practitioner in her 60s went to see her sick mother in Dalian City, where the police authorities had already prepared to "illegally arrest" her. Dabei Prison is a living hell. The staff there used every conceivable cruel, crafty and covert means to try to force Ms. Yu to renounce Falun Dafa. They even beat her with steel rods covered with rubber, a torture that does not leave obvious wounds but can result in serious internal injuries. The police hung Ms. Yu by her handcuffs and brutally beat her into a coma with a steel rod. In October 2003, she was released on medical parole. At the end of September 2005, she spit up large amounts of blood and died three days later. -
Three Older Practitioners Persecuted to Death in Shandong, Hubei, and Liaoning Provinces
2005-11-04Mr. Zhang Faming was 64 years old. He began to cultivate in Falun Dafa in 1996. The arthritis that had bothered him for over ten years was healed after he began to cultivate, and his physical health became excellent. In July 18th, 2001, he was taken away and his house was ransacked. A few policemen took turns beating and kicking him. They hung him by his handcuffs and interrogated him while they beat him. He was released in March 2002. Yet due to the severity of the torture he was badly traumatised. He passed away on April 10th. -
Older Beijing Practitioner, Ms. Wang Xiuhua, Dies from Torture Sustained at the Kaiping Forced Labour Camp
2005-11-0351-year-old Ms. Wang Xiuhua died as a result of torture at the Kaiping Forced Labour Camp on July 15th, 2005. The authorities tortured Wang Xiuhua until she was at the brink of death. They then demanded that her family take her home on June 22nd, 2005. By then Wang Xiuhua exhibited symptoms of severe damage to the nervous system: blank stare, inability to speak or to urinate, immobility and loss of feeling in the lower body. Her family rushed her to a hospital but she could not be revived. Ms. Wang died in the hospital three weeks after being released from the labour camp. -
Six Falun Gong Practitioners from Gansu, Jilin, Anhui Provinces Were Persecuted to Death
2005-11-03Ms. Bin Jie was 71 years old. In mid-December of 2000, she went to Beijing for the second time to appeal on behalf of Falun Gong. She was arrested and put in the trunk of a car. After her release, her whole body twitched and her pulse was very irregular. Because the police were afraid that she was dying in the car, they sent her to the police station to let her rest for two hours, then she was sent to a bus station. After she was persecuted twice in Beijing, Bin Jie's mental condition seriously deteriorated. She had a stroke soon after coming back home and passed away on June 20th, 2005. -
Three Practitioners from Sichuan, Liaoning and Beijing Die from Continual Harassment and Persecution
2005-11-03In 2001, 61-year-old Mr. Li Zhengjin went to Beijing to peacefully appeal for the right to practise Falun Gong. Because of this action, he was imprisoned and tortured by criminals for ten months. Even after being released, the police continued to harass him at home and even broke into and ransacked his home. The long-term psychological pressure and inability to peacefully practise his beliefs caused Mr. Li's body to deteriorate and severe diseases again re-emerged. He was imprisoned in a brainwashing centre and a few days after this latest series of harassment, torture and persecution, Mr. Li Zhengjin died. -
Three Practitioners from Heilongjiang, Liaoning and Shandong Provinces Died as a Result of the Persecution
2005-11-02Ms. Liu Yugui, aged 59, was fined over 6,000 yuan because she practised Falun Dafa and told the facts of Falun Dafa to people. Her daughters were also sentenced to prison. Ms. Liu Yugui was arrested when she went to the city police department to look for her daughter. She was held in a detention centre for over three months. She was so brutally treated that she could not even walk. In October 2003 she was arrested again and confined to a metal chair for six days. Both her mental and physical health were severely compromised. She died on October 29th, 2003. -
Older Practitioner Mr. Li Wenxiang of Hunan Province Died as a Result of Persecution
2005-11-0155-year-old Mr. Li Wenxiang was brutally persecuted several times. In June, 2003 he was "illegally arrested" and taken to a detention centre after spending two years in a forced labour camp. He was close to death while he was there. On August 20th, 2003 his family members finally saw him. Mr. Li was emaciated. His body was swollen, and he could barely walk. Later blood clots were found in his brain and he was released for medical treatment. He was fired by his employer, and his wife was forced to divorce him. He died at 6:00 p.m. on October 17th, 2005. -
Five Falun Gong Practitioners from Shandong, Liaoning and Hubei Provinces Were Persecuted to Death
2005-11-01Mr. Chen Sanqiang was a 39-year-old practitioner from Hubei Province. After July 20th, 1999, he continued performing the five exercises outdoors, since he truly believed Falun Dafa is good. He was detained three times and severely tortured each time. Once he was beaten until he lost consciousness and then drenched in cold water to be revived. The continual torture caused him to suffer a physical and mental breakdown, and his liver was damaged. After he returned home, he continued living under ongoing fear. Later he showed signs of liver ascites and died in May 2005. -
Ms. Jia Xiulan, 68, Killed in a Brainwashing Class Held at Tangshan City Textile University
2005-10-31Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Jia Xiulan was 68 years old. On August 31st, 2005, she was arrested by the authorities and locked in a brainwashing class held in Tangshan City Textile University. On September 4th, people heard that Ms. Jia died due to an unclear cause. Many of her family members went to ask for an explanation, and the lawless authorities then paid forty thousand yuan as compensation to her family. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Yang Xingzhe from Hebei Province Died Recently Due to Persecution
2005-10-3138-year-old Ms. Yang Xingzhe was a Falun Dafa practitioner in Hebei Province. After the persecution started on July 20th, 1999, the police often ransacked her home, extorted money from her and intimidated her. In 2001 Ms. Yang was unjustly sentenced to two years of forced labour for distributing Falun Dafa leaflets exposing the persecution and for hanging banners . She was forced to do slave labour at the Balizhuang Forced Labour Camp in Baoding City and was also subjected to beatings and brainwashing. Ms. Yang had a cerebral hemorrhage and passed away on October 14th, 2005. -
Seven Falun Dafa Practitioners from Liaoning, Jilin and Hebei Provinces Pass Away Due to Persecution
2005-10-3182-year-old Ms. Ou Mizhi previously had emphysema, tuberculosis and stomach disease. All of them were cured some time after she started practising Dafa in 1998. On July 20th, 1999, Ms. Ou set off for Beijing with the goal of appealing for Dafa. She was intercepted midway and sent back to home. Her daughter, also a Dafa practitioner, was abducted and detained many times by the authorities. The police ransacked her home numerous times. The perpetrators smashed the metal gate of her home, traumatising Ms. Ou Mizhi. She never fully recovered from the shock. Her daughter was later sentenced to four years in prison. Ms. Ou passed away on September 10th, 2005. -
Mr. Zhang Xiangfu Dies As a Result of Torture in the Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp
2005-10-29Mr. Fang Xiangfu was a 33-year-old practitioner from Heilongjiang Province. Police arrested and tortured him many times because he practised Falun Gong. In 2002, police and 610 Office sent him to Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp, where guards tortured him, using over 20 torture methods. As a result, seven ribs and chest bones were broken, his skull was injured and the backs of his hands were scorched. The guards invented a torture to increase his suffering. They shot needles from a homemade gun at practitioners. The needles went deep into the flesh and caused excruciating pain. As a result of the brutal torture, Mr. Zhang died on October 15th, 2005. -
Four Dafa Practitioners from Heilongjiang and Henan Provinces Pass Away As A Result of Persecution
2005-10-29Ms. Bao Yuzhen was 66 years old. After the persecution began in 1999, together with her daughter and son-in-law, she went out to appeal and tell people the truth about Falun Dafa. They were stopped by police at the bus station and sent back. Ms. Bao escaped, but her son-in-law was captured. Afterwards, her son-in-law was arrested twice consecutively and was held in jail longer than the law allowed. Ms. Bao's body and mind suffered tremendously. Her diabetes recurred, and she suffered a cerebral hemorrhage. After witnessing the thug-like conduct of the police, living in extreme fear for a prolonged period of time, and suffering from the loneliness of a broken family, Ms. Bao passed away in the winter of 2002. -
Over 50 Ms Zhao Huiru from Shenyang Dies as a Result of Persecution
2005-10-28Falun Dafa practitioner Zhao Huiru, who was in her 50s, was repeatedly subjected to illegal detainment and torture. As a result of the beatings one of Zhao Huiru's fingers on her right hand was broken, large locks of her hair were pulled out, her clothing was soaked with blood and she couldn't walk. After a few months of treatment in the hospital she was taken home by her family. By that time, her hair had turned completely white. The torture caused her to not be able to walk normally, to not be able to focus her eyes, drool constantly and become absent minded. She passed away on September 7th, 2005.
