France: Practitioners Invited to a Conference by Human Rights Organisations Active in Southeast Asia

Asian human rights organisations exposed the serious human rights violations in authoritarian and communist countries. The ongoing persecution against Falun Gong by Jiang Zemin’s Chinese communist regime raised concern and attracted the attention of every organisation and participant in the conference. The persecution was strongly condemned. -
Russia: Promoting Falun Gong and Exposing the Persecution in Moscow City Centre

The activities on Saturday were held in the centre of the city, which was crowded with people. Over two thousand flyers in Chinese and Russian were given out within three hours. As practitioners spoke to people one-on-one, those who came to know the truth signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution. -

A new practitioner is a CEO of a bank. She likes Falun Dafa very much, and she took the initiative to call me after she heard about Dafa from a practitioner friend of mine. She also brought several friends to learn the exercises. Because it is quite cold outside now, she has offered the living room of her house as a practice site. -

Many people had heard about Falun Gong after the previous activities and had been asking the Market Manager to invite practitioners back, saying that they wanted to know more about Falun Gong. -
Sweden: Exposing the Persecution Against Falun Gong in Gothenburg City Centre

Between the 17th and19th of December, practitioners held activities in the centre of Gothenburg. After finding out that over 1,100 Falun Gong practitioners have lost their lives in the five-year campaign of genocide happening in China, many people came forward on their own initiative to sign the petition calling for an end to these human rights abuses. -
Spain: Falun Gong gets a Big Welcome at the National Health Expo

From the 4th to the 7th of November, at the 20th National Health Exposition held in Madrid, the Falun Gong stall attracted many people from all over the country in all professions. Many people came to Falun Dafa’s exhibition table to ask for information or to watch and learn the exercises. The “Introduction to Falun Dafa” meeting got a big welcome from all the visitors. -
Germany: Appealing Against the Persecution on World Human Rights Day in Frankfurt

Practitioners gathered on World Human Rights Day to appeal to the Chinese Government to stop the persecution against Falun Gong. A large number of passers-by signed a petition calling for the immediate release of Xu Youlin, mother of a German practitioner who is being detained in Beijing’s Female Forced Labour Camp for practising Falun Gong. -
French Court Requests China to Investigate the Defendant’s Role in the Persecution of Falun Gong

On the 16th of December, the French Falun Dafa Association and lawyers William Bourdon and Georges-Henri Beauthier held a joint press conference to outline details of the international collaborative legal effort by French practitioners against senior Chinese Communist Party officials who are actively involved in persecuting Falun Gong. -
Sweden: Falun Gong at Gothenburg's Way of Life and Health Expo

The Falun Gong display attracted lots of people. They came to the booth one by one and signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution. A reporter from a local radio station interviewed a practitioner, mainly about the benefit that Falun Gong can bring to people’s minds and moral character, as well as the Chinese Communist regime’s persecution of Falun gong practitioners. -
Turkey: Exposing the Persecution on World Human Rights Day

On World Human Rights Day, I promoted Falun Gong and told people about the persecution against the practice in Ankara city centre. I set up a display booth with photos of Falun Gong practitioners being tortured by the Chinese authorities because they refuse to renounce their beliefs. Local people were very supportive. -
Russia: World Human Rights Day Appeal in St. Petersburg

World Human Rights Day on December the 10th saw Russian practitioners gather in the centre of St. Petersburg to appeal against the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. People were very interested to listen to practitioners’ explanation of the facts about Falun Gong and many wanted information on their local practice sites where they can learn the exercises for free. -
France: Press Conference to Discuss French Judge’s Request for an Investigation into the Persecution Against Falun Gong

"In China, if you practise Falun Gong and you are persecuted, you don't have the right to ask for a lawyer. Indeed, the Party forbids anyone to defend practitioners. If you have been tortured or a member of your family has been killed you cannot even file a complaint. This means total impunity for those who torture and those who give orders against Falun Gong. But here in France justice works. This is why as a French citizen I wished to file a complaint for what I endured in China, together with Chinese plaintiffs who have been severely tortured." -
Russia: Rally on World Human Rights Day To Demand that Jiang, Luo, Liu and Zhou Be Brought to Justice

Many people stopped and carefully studied the exhibition. The facts of the persecution endured by practitioners in China deeply touched people's hearts. A middle-aged woman attentively viewed each of the posters and took some leaflets. She read them while walking. She turned back to ask some questions and sign the petition before continuig her journey. -
Sweden: Practitioners hold an Anti-Torture Poster Exhibition in Stockholm
2004-12-18
On the 11th of December, Swedish practitioners held an anti-torture picture exhibition outside the Parliament building in Stockholm to raise awareness of the persecution against Falun Gong. Hundreds of people gladly accepted flyers and continually stopped to look at the pictures and read the information translated into both English and Chinese.
