Practitioners introduced Falun Dafa in a park in Moscow. While some performed traditional-style dances and demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises, other practitioners revealed to passersby the extent of the persecution of Falun Gong taking place in Mainland China and collected signatures to bring it to an end. -
Germany: Introducing Falun Dafa and Exposing the Persecution During Dresden City Festival (2)

Between August the 20th and August the 22nd, German Falun Gong practitioners took part in Dresden’s annual City Festival. Practitioners were invited to perform for forty-five minutes on the stage twice every day. Also, practitioners at two stalls told people about Falun Gong and the persecution between participating in the dance performances. -
Letting all MEPs Know About the South African Shooting Incident

Five weeks after the South African shooting incident, on the day when new and old MEPs on duty exchange their tasks, we came to the European Union Parliament House. To begin with we brought 1000 English and 600 German press releases concerning the South Africa incident. Little did we know that they would all be distributed by the next day. -
United Kingdom: Practitioners Hold Anti-Torture Exhibition in London's Trafalgar Square

After the successful conclusion of the sixth UK Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference in London on 29th of August, UK practitioners organised an anti-torture poster exhibition in London’s famous Trafalgar Square the following day. The exhibition exposed some of the cruel methods used to torture Falun Gong practitioners in China. -
Austria: Exposing the Persecution of Falun Dafa to the People of Graz

On August the 21st 2004, Falun Gong practitioners organised an information day in Austria’s second largest city, Graz to let people know more about the Falun Gong situation in China and abroad. They held many activities, including demonstrations of the five sets of Falun Gong exercises, poster exhibitions, a petition signature collection and the distribution of a large amount of leaflets. -

Because it was near China and affected by economic factors, the lies that the Jiang regime in China spread to persecute Falun Gong practitioners also influenced Blagovescensk City. We wanted to tell people in Blagovescensk that Falun Dafa was good, and to expose the lies of the Jiang regime. -
Ireland: A Warm Welcome for Falun Gong at the Festival of World Cultures in Dun Laoghaire

This weekend, the Festival of World Cultures was held in the seaside town of Dun Laoghaire, which is just on the outskirts of Dublin. The festival celebrates the diversity of cultural life from all corners of the globe. Falun Gong practitioners received a warm welcome invoking the very best of traditional Chinese culture as inspired by the principles of Truthfulness Compassion and Tolerance. -
Germany: Promoting Falun Gong at the Dresden City Festival

They were invited to demonstrate the exercises as well as other traditional performances on the stage four times for thirty to forty-five minutes each time. Many people received leaflets and signed petitions to support the lawsuit against Jiang Zemin. -

When they realised that these were several methods of torture among a hundred which are still being used in China, they felt very indignant and said that they would like to support Falun Gong practitioners. One Chinese person joined the protest and lifted up a banner against the persecution. When his friend passed and asked him why stood with the Falun Gong team, he answered loudly, “You see 1027 people have been persecuted to death. Can I still keep silent? I want to protest!” -
Germany: Dafa Practitioners Introduce Falun Dafa at Dresden City Festival (I)

The annual Dresden City Festival in Germany was held from August the 20th to August the 22nd. Tens of thousands of people went on to the streets to watch a variety of performances. German Falun Gong practitioners were invited to participate in this event and perform Falun Gong exercises on the stage for forty-five minutes twice a day. -
Greece: A Story from Athens During the Olympic Games
2004-08-29A chief police officer praised Dafa practitioners for the quality of the performance. She said, “You are all very nice. People from the Chinese Embassy told me that you are troublemakers. In the past week, you have not brought us any trouble. Instead, it is them who gave us trouble. Please let me know if there is anything that I can be of help with. Next time when you come to Athens, please call me. We should stay in touch.” Through Dafa practitioners’ songs and dances, Greek citizens experienced the benevolence and compassion of Dafa practitioners. -
Germany: Anti-Torture Exhibition Brings Support from a Local MP

As Passau is the sister city of Liuzhou city in Guangxi, China, local citizens are very interested in things happening in China. However, they know little about the persecution against Falun Gong. On the 21st of August 2004, local Falun Dafa practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition in the city centre. -
Greece: Falun Gong Events were the Only Officially Sanctioned Events During the Olympic Games
2004-08-27Due to our efforts in letting the public know about Falun Gong and the genocide that is taking place against practitioners in China, and thanks to the peaceful nature of Falun Gong cultivation practice, people who practise Falun Gong were the only group who received permission to hold events in Athens. The Chief of Police asked us to ‘not disappoint her’ because she had experienced enormous pressure from the Chinese Government, who demanded that she arrest all Falun Gong practitioners. Indeed, Dafa practitioners did not disappoint her and our peaceful demeanour touched the police and the public alike. -

On the 21st of August 2004, Russian Falun Gong practitioners held activities in central Moscow to introduce Falun Gong and let people know about the persecution in China. After viewing the anti-torture exhibition, Moscovites came to learn more about the extremely ruthless and brutal nature of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.
