Turkey: Stories of New Practitioners

The largest Turkish TV station SHOW TV interviewed practitioners who were doing the Falun Gong exercises in an Ankara park and videotaped the group practice. On the same night, the station broadcasted the interview nationwide in its news hour. Through practitioners’ persistent efforts in the last several years, the Turkish people are gradually learning about Falun Gong. -
An Open Letter to the Singapore Government from the Spanish Falun Gong Association

Your nation’s recent unjust conviction of Falun Gong practitioners Ng Chye Huay and Cheng Lujin has raised a serious question mark over Singapore’s democracy and rule of law in the international community. Laws should be established based on morality and human conscience. They are used to maintain social fairness and justice, not for justifying self-interest. We believe Singapore is a signatory to the World Human Rights Declaration. The actions of two Falun Gong practitioners were in no way exceeding the scope of basic freedom of speech and belief, especially considering that Falun Gong is a registered legal group in Singapore. -
Spain: Introducing Falun Gong at Tacoronte City in the Canary Islands

Most of the people who practised the five exercises looked radiant afterwards. One lady said that her whole body felt easy and free. Another said that she would tell her husband to practise Falun Gong and would share this good thing she had found. A young girl said that this was the third time she had done the exercises and she felt great. -
France: Falun Gong Association Representative Invited to Armenian Rally

Chairman of the French Falun Gong Association was invited to a rally and press conference. Organised by the General Association of Armenian Descendants in France, the activities were entitled “Celebrate the 60th anniversary of the liberation from Nazi concentration camps and commensurate the 90th anniversary of the holocaust of Armenians in Turkey.” -
Spain: Practitioners hold Activities to Commemorate April 25th 1999

On April the 25th, Spanish Falun Gong practitioners held a photo exhibition at Socodover Square in Toledo city centre to commemorate the 6th anniversary of the April 25th peaceful appeal. They showed the peace and beauty of Falun Gong and the persecution practitioners are suffering in China, and they called on people to be concerned and make efforts to stop this persecution. -
Letter from Nordic Falun Dafa Association to the Norway Singapore Consul
2005-05-06There are today court cases in some 20 different countries against the former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin and his collaborators. They face charges of torture, crimes against humanity and genocide. These cases are according to the development of international law. The Swedish Government for instance plans to allow for court proceedings in Sweden against such crimes, independent of where they are carried out – a plan in the spirit of Martin Luther King jr: “A threat to justice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” -

Slovakia: People of Partizanske show Support for Falun Gong Practitioners’ Human Rights

People in Partizanske found it hard to believe that these popular exercises could be the target of persecution, even though the older generation could remember the harm caused by the communists in Slovakia. People advised us wholeheartedly to stay longer, because there was going to be a cultural event in the city that afternoon. -
Russia: Activity in Moscow on the 6th Anniversary of the “4.25” Appeal

On April 25th 2005, a group of Moscow Falun Gong practitioners held activities in the north-east district of Moscow City to commemorate of the 6th anniversary of the “4.25” peaceful appeal outside Zhongnanhai. Banners and photo boards were displayed to let the public know about the persecution happening to Falun Gong practitioners in China. -
Finland: Practitioners Call for an End to the Persecution on the Sixth Anniversary of the April 25th Incident

Practitioners held a photo exhibition in Helsinki, in memory of the sixth anniversary of the “4.25” incident when 10,000 practitioners peacefully went to the Appeals Office in Zhongnanhai to tell the Chinese authorities about the human rights abuses against Falun Gong. Many people were shocked and concerned after seeing the astonishing photos of persecuted practitioners. -
Sweden: Falun Gong Practitioners Invited to a Culture Day in Ockelbo

On Friday the 29th of April 2005, a large culture day was arranged with various activities at a senior-level school in Ockelbo, Sweden. The pupils had the opportunity to choose what to do during the day and two Falun Gong practitioners from the city of Gaovle were invited because pupils wanted to know more about the practice. -
United Kingdom: Exposing the Crimes of the Chinese Communist Party in London’s Chinatown

On the 24th of April, Falun Gong practitioners in the UK once again organised an activity in London’s Chinatown to promote Falun Gong and raise awareness of the persecution against the practice in Mainland China. This was part of the series of activities held in the UK to commemorate the April 25th appeal in 1999. -
Finland: Bringing the Goodness of Falun Gong to the Finnish People

On the evening of the 8th of April 2005, practitioners from two different cities in Finland drove several hundred kilometres to the Kylpyl Hotel near the mid-west city of Pori to participate in a two-day health exhibition. Some people told practitioners they had already seen Falun Gong on Finnish TV. Several members of the public said that they could feel a strong energy field at the Falun Gong stall. -
Sweden: Activities in Gothenburg to Commemorate the April 25th Incident

On April 24th, Falun Gong practitioners from Gothenburg held an activity in the city centre to raise awareness about the persecution and inform the public of the anniversary of the 25th of April appeal. It was six years ago that 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners peacefully gathered at the Chinese Communist Party’s central appeal office in Beijing. -
Holland: To Commemorate the "4.25" Appeal, Practitioners Peacefully Appeal Outside the Chinese Embassy

To commemorate the "4.25" appeal in Zhongnanhai, when 10,000 Dafa practitioners went to peacefully appeal to the Chinese Government in 1999, Holland Dafa practitioners peacefully demonstrated outside the Chinese Embassy and called for an end to the persecution on the 24th of April.
