United Kingdom: Holding a Benefit Performance and Petitioning to Rescue Falun Gong Orphans in Oxford City

On Saturday the 27th of August 2005, at Gloucester Green Square in the famous historical city of Oxford, Falun Gong practitioners held activities calling for help to rescue Falun Gong orphans, which included a benefit performance designed by practitioners themselves, distributing leaflets and collecting signatures. -
Denmark: Press Conference about Legal Action is Attended by Major Danish Media

The CCP Procurator General Jia Chunwang was sued by Falun Gong practitioners for Crimes of Torture while he was taking part in the International Procurator General Association’s annual meeting on 28th August in Copenhagen. The Danish Falun Gong association held a press conference. All mainstream Danish media attended this conference. -
Italy: Falun Dafa is Becoming More Popular on the Island of Sardinia

At the end of July and the beginning of August, some practitioners from Switzerland and Italy went to the island of Sardinia in Italy to promote Falun Gong. Practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises in the park every morning. A newspaper reported the stories of Falun Gong practitioners and revealed the truth of the persecution by the CCP using a whole page spread. -
Russia: Exercise Demonstration and Exposing the Persecution at the "International Conference of Traditional Medical Treatments"

Moscow Falun Gong practitioners attended the 4th International Conference of Traditional Medical Treatments. During the conference practitioners demonstrated the five sets of exercises, telling the attendees about what Falun Gong is, and about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) six years of persecution against the peaceful practice. -
Italy: Practitioners Participated in the Virgin Mary Ascension Day and the City Mayor Personally Expressed Thanks

When practitioners were setting up display boards exposing the persecution and cruel torture happening in China, owners of the stores in the neighbourhood could not wait to ask questions. They were all shocked to believe that such things still happen in the world today. A great number of people signed their names on the petition. -
Switzerland: Appealing for Support from United Nations Participants to Rescue my Auntie

My auntie, Ms. Qiu Minghua, is being persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party because she refuses to give up practising Falun Gong. She has been illegally imprisoned since November 25th 2004. In order to appeal for her rescue, during the period of the UN Human Rights Committee from the end of July 2005 to the beginning of August I talked to about one hundred officials from different countries in the United Nations and to members of NGOs (non-governmental organisations). I appealed to them to support the rescue of Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted in Mainland China. The effect was good. -
Sweden: Practitioners Invited to Demonstrate the Exercises at a Health Seminar in Lerum

There were about three hundred and fifty people attending the seminar. Almost everybody was given a pamphlet introducing the practice of Falun Gong and explaining why this peaceful method is so brutally persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party. There were many people who stopped to watch when Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the exercises. -
Sweden: Thoughts on Malmo Festival

Malmo is the third biggest city in the south of Sweden, elegant and beautiful. The grand Malmo Festival was held from the 20th to the 27th of August. I took part activities to promote Falun Gong that took place over two days during the Festival. -
United Kingdom: Moving Performances to Rescue the Orphaned Children of Murdered Falun Gong Practitioners

On August 29th, UK Falun Gong practitioners held a performance in London's famous Trafalgar Square to rescue the orphans of Falun Gong practitioners. Daily sightseeing tourists came and went in a continuous stream and practitioners’ performance attracted much attention. People stood in a circle and watched with great interest. -
Latvia: Introducing Falun Dafa and Exposing the Persecution in Auce City
2005-09-07On August 20th, 2005, invited by the Chairman of Congress, Latvian Falun Gong practitioners came to Auce City. A great number of passers-by gathered in front of the display boards that practitioners had set up. Two practitioners demonstrated the five Falun Gong exercises, some distributed leaflets and others talked to interested people. -
Finland: Holding an Anti-torture Exhibition to Let More People Know the Facts of the Persecution

On August 14th, some Falun Gong practitioners from North Europe and Latvia gathered at the busiest business centre in Helsinki to let people know about Falun Gong and the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. They demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and held an anti-torture exhibition. Tourists from various countries signed the petition one after another. -
Finland: Falun Gong Practitioners Invited to Koli to Introduce the Practice

Practitioners introduced the practice at a health fare in Pyhä-Koli, and a teacher from Joensuu learned the exercises. She wanted to learn more about the persecution and about the practice of Falun Gong. A few months later she made a call and asked if we could come to Koli and introduce the practice to her students at the college in North-Karelia. -
Sweden: Exhibition of a Thousand Lotus Flowers

An exhibition entitled “A Thousand Lotus Flowers” was held in a public library in Stockholm, Sweden for the first time between August 20th and August 30th. In the exhibition, practitioners related a twelve year-old girl called Evelina’s dream of making a thousand paper Lotus Flowers to end the persecution in China during last Easter. -
Estonia: Falun Gong Practitioners Invited to Participate in the Health Expo at Saue City

Estonian Falun Gong practitioners were invited to participate in a Health Expo in Saue City on August 27th. Practitioners demonstrated the five Falun Gong exercises. While discussing Falun Gong, practitioners also informed the public of the brutal persecution initiated by Jiang Zemin and carried out by the Chinese Communist Party over the past six years. -
Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners at Dresden City Festival

On August 20th and 21st, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners were again invited to participate in the Dresden City Festival. During the two days, Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the five Falun Gong exercises; some distributed leaflets to passers-by; and others gave away hand-made paper Lotus Flowers. Lots of people stopped to watch and chat.
