Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Chen Naifa from Fujian Province Tortured to Death by Force-Feeding Through An Incision in the Throat

Mr. Chen Naifa, in his 40's, was formerly a traffic policeman. Because he practised Falun Dafa, he was sentenced to two years in prison. In order to protest the persecution, he went on a hunger strike without water, facing torturous force-feedings. To force-feed him, the police brutally cut a hole in his throat. Mr. Chen's physical condition was already not good because of the tortures he had endured over a long period of time, and he died under such inhuman mistreatment around April or May of 2004. -
Father of Yao Yaoyuan: Losing My Son in My Old Age Has Made Me Grieve Terribly
2005-05-16"On June 4, 2003, my son Yao Yaoyuan sadly left this world. I felt great sorrow upon his death. Only because of his saying one sentence, "I want to go out to find a job," he suffered brainwashing for 10 months. What was heartbreaking was the fact that without any trial, without giving his family any written judgment, while he was seriously ill, my son was wrongfully charged with "disturbing the social order," and was sentenced to one year of forced labour. Ms. Li Hongying from Heilongjiang Province Dies from Torture at the Harbin Drug Rehabilitation Centre
2005-05-15Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Hongying suffered from haemorrhaging since returning from the Harbin Drug Rehabilitation Centre in mid-February 2005. She had been bleeding for a year at the rehab centre, during which time the guards forced her to work, and abused her with various torture implements until her entire body swelled up and she bled non-stop. The guards told her family to pick her up when she was at the brink of death. She passed away on March 26, 2005. -
More Than Fifty Falun Dafa Practitioners from Liaoning Province Arrested on the Same Day; Mr. Gai Chunlin Dies in Police Custody
2005-05-15On April 14, 2005, Fushun City police department sent fifty police vehicles to various villages to arrest practitioners, with their sirens blaring. Police surrounded each practitioner's home before arresting them, frightening the local folks. On May 6, 2005, police notified the family of one of the arrested practitioners, Mr. Gai Chunlin, that he had died. -
Ms. Gan Yulan and Mr. Guo Shijun Died as a Result of Torture
2005-05-15Ms. Gan Yulan was 35 years old and was arrested by policemen while posting Falun Dafa leaflets exposing the persecution. She was sent to Nanning City Women Forced Labour Camp where she endured numerous tortures, which severely damaged her mental and physical health. She became very ill with severe pulmonary disease and was and sent back home in June 2002. Agents from the local 610 office continued to harass and threaten her at her home, and then sent her back to the Labour Camp in July 2002. Her condition worsened, and she was sent home because she was dying. She passed away on September 15, 2003. -
Authorities at the Jilin Province Women's Prison Escalate Persecution of Dafa Practitioners
2005-05-15According to reliable sources, since the 2005 New Year, the authorities at the Women's Prison of Jilin Province have been isolating all the imprisoned Falun Dafa practitioners from one another and severely persecuting them mentally and physically. This round of escalated persecution is even more brutal, concealed, and deceptive than before. It has also lasted much longer. The authorities prohibit the practitioners from any contact with the outside world in order to hide their crimes. -
Retired Teacher Zhao Yong from Inner Mongolia Dies in Prison
2005-05-14Mr. Zhao Yong was a 63 year old retired teacher who had been detained numerous times because he practised Falun Dafa. He was sentenced to a three-year prison term in the Hohhot City Second Prison. During his confinement in the prison, he was repeatedly mistreated, severely weakening both his physical and mental state. His liver disease reoccurred. However, the prison administration refused him medical parole, and he died in April 2005. -
Remembering Practitioner Mr. Liu Yucai, Who Died as a Result of Persecution
2005-05-14Mr. Liu Yucai was over 50 years old and was detained for two years in the Tumuji Forced Labour Camp for speaking out for Falun Dafa. In order to force Mr. Liu to give up his belief, the police did not allow him to sleep. He was determined to resist the persecution. The police verbally abused him and refused to let him sleep for several days. As a result, his blood pressure rose, and he felt very cold and was in great pain. He had to be released early from the labour camp. To avoid constant police harassment he left home. However, on January 16, 2004, he died. -
Persecution against Family Members of Falun Gong Practitioners
2005-05-14After October 2000 my mother and sister were arrested and detained several times for practising Falun Gong. In 2001 my mother was detained for the second time in a forced labour camp. After that, she was on the verge of death several times. The labour camp again ordered me to pay money and also to turn in my sister in exchange for my mother. How terrible their words were! My sister had just been recovering from her brush with death, and my mother's life was in extreme danger. How could I choose between them? The experience was terribly painful. -
Seven Falun Gong Practitioners from Sichuan Province Passed Away Due to the Persecution
2005-05-14In December 2000 Ms. Xu Qing was arrested on her way to appeal in Beijing. She was then detained at a detention centre, where she was subjected to maltreatment and lost consciousness. Her family was called to take her home. She recovered after an emergency treatment, but became mentally confused and broke down. Her family was deeply misled by the CCP's propaganda and had misunderstandings toward Falun Gong. They did not allow her to practise and refused to allow other practitioners to talk with her. Xu Qing passed away on April 16, 2005. -
Beijing Tiantanghe Women's Forced Labor Camp Viciously Persecutes Dafa Practitioners and Hides the Truth from Reporters
2005-05-13The team leader of the Third Unit in Tiantanghe Women's Forced Labor Camp orders drug addicts to watch the steadfast practitioners in the unit and to assist in their ongoing torture. Many practitioners are locked in a small room and forced to stand or hold their arms in the air for long periods of time. They are also deprived of sleep and toilet privileges. The drug addicts force practitioners into absurd positions, making them cram their heads under a small stool. Sometimes practitioners are also forced to stand naked outdoors on winter nights. -
The Persecution of Dafa Practitioner Ms Li Ying at the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp
2005-05-13Ms. Li Ying was incarcerated in Masanjia Forced Labour Camp. Before her release she wrote a letter to her parents, which said, "While writing this letter I shiver with fear recalling the past three years in prison. I want to tell all my relatives and family about my experiences. I want to tell everybody about those who have committed crimes so that people will know the truth. Just like me, many other practitioners in the prison had been persecuted so seriously that they had difficulty moving around on their legs. Every day my heart felt the tremendous pressure, and my ears were filled with the loud cries of the people around me." -
The Difficult Life of Ren Yuan, Teenage Son of Ms. Wu Lingxia, Who Was Tortured to Death
2005-05-1314 year old Ren Yuan tragically lost his mother, Ms. Wu Lingxia, at the age of 13. She was unjustly imprisoned and suffered brutal persecution at the Shuangya City Detention Centre and the Jiamusi City Forced Labour Camp. Due to mental and physical torture, she died on July 27, 2002. Due to the persecution Ren Yuan's home and school life were severely disrupted - his father was coerced to divorce his mother and he had to change schools when his persecuted mother could no longer look after him or herself. He now lives with his father. -
Eleven Practitioners, Including Three In Their Eighties, Who Died as a Result of the Persecution in Hebei Province
2005-05-13Mr. Wang Shaodong went to appeal in Beijing and was arrested. He suffered from beatings, torture and mental abuse. The torture caused him to have a mental breakdown. After he was released, he resumed his Falun Dafa practice and basically recovered. In 2001, he was on a train when the police searched him against his will. They found a Falun Gong book and detained and tortured him again. His just-recovered mental status could not bear another round of abuse and he again suffered a breakdown. Additionally, he was diagnosed with lung cancer. In November 2003, Mr. Wang Shaodong passed away.
