Take translating articles as an example. We should pay attention on how to improve the quality and speed of our translation, and not be satisfied with our current level of translation. We also must learn more knowledge to better clarify the truth. Such learning does not have time restriction. The more we learn the more we improve. We should constantly learn and improve. -
One Must Persevere in Cultivation Practise
2006-01-31There are some Falun Dafa practitioners who have been neglecting studying the Falun Gong teachings for a long time, studying on and off. However, as soon as they see one of Teacher's new articles published, their enthusiasm returns, followed by a few days of diligent study and hard work. They promise themselves that they will continue to work hard to upgrade themselves, yet every time they fail to keep up with the promise they made. They feel terrible themselves, yet are unable to persist. -

Cultivating Under the Persercution in China
2006-01-23At the end of 2000, the company laid off some employees and they had to wait at home for work. Someone, who did not know the truth of Falun Gong, reported to the company security section that a Falun Gong practitioner in our workshop was still working. The security section then called the workshop official. The workshop official told them, "My Falun Gong practitioner is different; he works very well." The security personnel did not know what to say. -
A Young Falun Gong Practitioner's Experiences in Manhattan
2006-01-23After the New Year Gala successfully ended, we went to Times Square to pass out materials exposing the persecution going on in China against Falun Gong. We were standing at the street corners and tried to clarify the truth to people. When we could not speak English clearly, we would show them the materials. Besides standing at the corners, we were also walking on the street while holding poster boards up high. -
My Understanding about Memorising and Reciting the Falun Gong Teachings
2006-01-18When I recite the Falun Gong teachings, I feel that my body is enveloped in an energy field, and it feels wonderful! The more I think about the sentences in the book, I can sense the deeper and broader implications beyond the surface meaning of the words. Sometimes when I recite some sentences, I suddenly feel a warm current in my head, which is an indelible sensation that I had never experienced before with merely reading through the book. -

2006-01-18In one instance, I clarified the facts about the persecution to a man. He said, "If you give me the Communist Party's materials, I will not read them. If you give me Falun Gong's materials, I will read them." Another time, I went to the village fireworks factory. I saw the brigade committee secretary, the village head and the manager of the factory. They carefully listened to me as I expose the lies by the Party and explained to them the true principle behind Falun Dafa and the Falun Dafa emblem. -
Discarding My Fundamental Attachment of "Beautiful Dreams and Wishes"
2006-01-17I haven't discarded my attachment to comfort, and I have been too lazy. I still have an attachment to taste, among other things. Although I've been studying the Fa2, it isn't registered in my heart. My mind is not clear when sending forth righteous thoughts, I only do the exercises once in a while and I am becoming more and more fearful. When I occasionally go out to distribute Falun Dafa materials, I conduct it like a routine and I'm happy to get it over with. My mind is full of everyday people's things. -
Stories from Falun Gong Practitioners in Moscow
2006-01-17Some practitioners in Moscow persist in practicing in the park all year around. In winter, ice can reach a depth of over a foot. Some practitioners help set-up exhibition boards explaining Falun Gong; some help to find a place for Falun Dafa materials, such as newspapers and greeting cards; and some practitioners stamp the ice down on the ground to tread out a field for practicing. Then everyone practices together. In a world of pure white ice and snow, the fresh air is beyond comparison with any other indoor practice site. -
My Experiences Practicing Falun Gong
2006-01-16 I used to have frequent pain in my eyes, and it was particularly difficult for me to look at the computer screen. Since I had this dream I can now look at the computer screen with no problem. Sometimes I can read the Falun Gong lectures on the computer for four to five hours at a stretch without moving my eyes from the screen. -
Significance of Thinking of the Fa and Master at Crucial Moments
2006-01-16Usually, we are able to treat ourselves as Falun Dafa practitioners and act according to Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance in our cultivation practise. We are able to look within ourselves and maintain the righteous thought "What do I have to fear when there is Master1 and the principles taught in Falun Gong?" However, at crucial moments, facing unexpected tests or tribulations, whether we are able to realise immediately that we are Master's practitioners and to be able to ask Master for help is very important.
