Understand from the Big Picture Promoting the Nine Commentaries and the New Year Gala, and Negating the Harmful Show

Recently, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) spent a large sum of money to put on a show named after the "theme song" of the persecution - "The Same Song." The goal behind its wicked arrangements is not only to interfere with NTDTV's New Year Gala, the success of which rendered the evil's attempts in vain, but more importantly, to "recharge" their own energy. Here are some of my personal understandings.

Many practitioners have realised that our New Year Gala is a powerful tool for saving sentient beings. That is because programs created and arranged by Dafa practitioners have a strong righteous energy, since there are factors of the Fa¹ behind them. When others actively accept these programs, our righteous energy and field can clear away the poisonous microscopic factors left in them by the evil. The fact that the people welcomed us would make clearing away the evil factors much easier. Actually what is blocking sentient beings from knowing the truth is to a large extent the poisonous factors the evil spectre has put in their minds. Teacher said,

"Did you know that after the Nine Commentaries came out, within just one month's time all of China knew about them? Since they are for all people--and especially Chinese people--everybody will for sure be given an opportunity." ("Teaching the Fa at the Western U.S. International Fa Conference")

It's been almost a year since Teacher² taught this Fa, but in terms of quitting the CCP, there is still a lot for us to do. My understanding is that although everyone has a predestined relationship to hear or read the Nine Commentaries³, a number of people will refuse to accept it. The factors that are blocking them are the poisonous factors the evil spectre planted in people's minds over a long period of time, including notions from the "Party culture." The more we clear away these poisonous factors with wisdom and a variety of approaches, the easier it is for the sentient beings to accept the truth.

On the other hand, when the evil spectre and rotten demons face their demise, they are also attempting to use art as a form to "recharge" themselves, to strengthen the evil factors in people's minds, and to block the people from knowing the truth. This is their last-ditch effort. If an audience that doesn't know the truth accepts the so-called "art performances" with the theme of a song of persecution and which is controlled by the evil, then the evil factors can enter into the audience's minds and possess them to absorb energy. Because it was the audience's choice to go there, it was easy for the evil factors to possess them. The CCP originally planned to broadcast the programs to Mainland Chinese people via television, so that the evil may build momentum and recharge itself. From this perspective, using truth-clarification to negate the evil performance of "The Same Song" that poisons and harms people is like burning the grain supply of the enemy during a battle. It denies the evil the opportunity to recharge.

When the practitioners in New York first began to clarify the truth to relevant agencies about the evil behind "The Same Song," some practitioners thought that it would be impossible for a company as big as Radio City Music Hall to cancel any performances. But actually "The Same Song" had difficulty even getting organised, as their performers withdrew one after another upon learning the truth. Teacher said,

"Remember: you are the stars of today's world, you are the lives that sentient beings are watching the most intently, and you are beings who are determining the future of every person in the human world!" ("Teaching the Fa at the 2005 Canada Fa Conference")

When we understand the relationship between promoting the Nine Commentaries and the NTDTV New Year Gala, and using righteous thoughts to negate the harmful performance of "The Same Song," we can see that, from the big picture of Fa-rectification and saving sentient beings, these events are complementing and built on each other. There's no conflict between them. Understanding this, we will not use human notions to judge these events and will do even better in saving sentient beings.
