The hospital authority did not ask me to sign any documents when they accepted me and rejected my repeated requests to see my family. Ten days after I was sent to the hospital the doctor told me, "The female labour camp has found your husband and asked him to sign your admission form, which he did, therefore, don't expect your husband to come here to take you back home. You have to stay here. If you don't break with Falun Gong, you will stay here until you have served your term. If you are not obedient, you will stay here forever till you die. In any event, your work unit is willing to pay the cost." -
The Crimes Committed Against Dafa Practitioner by Tangshan City Lawless Authorities
2004-01-15The police sent people to take turns watching him. At night there was a police car blocking the entrance. Within one month after Sun was released, the director of the Fengrun Public Security Bureau Li Chunyuan, along with Zeng Xianghai and Qi Lianfu, as well as several dozens of people from the public security office and other government offices, broke into Sun Jianzhong's house and tried to arrest him again. After cutting through the security door with a welding torch, the police broke into his apartment. Sun threw himself against the wall. The police dragged him out by force despite Sun's mother loud weeping. The brutality of the police shocked the whole residential area and people started to think again about the entire campaign of persecution against Falun Gong. -
Practitioner Tortured to Death and his 8 Month Pregnant Wife Forced to Have Abortion
2004-01-14It has been verified through a news source in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, that Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Shen Lizhi was tortured to death on March 3, 2002 at the hands of perpetrators from Chengdu City "610 Office," who also forced his wife to abort her eight-month-old foetus. The news source revealed that police officers Tian Xinming and others from the Chengdu City "610 Office" are directly responsible for taking these two innocent lives. -
Jilin Province Falun Dafa Practitioner Beaten to Disability and Poisoned by Police
2004-01-14The prison doctor furthermore force-fed him poisonous drugs. When the drugs took effect the pain and itch on his chest was so unbearable that he scratched it severely until it was bleeding. Before the prison doctor did the force-feeding, detention centre Director Zhao ordered the doctor to give him an injection of poison. The doctor cautioned that such injection might be too dangerous, so they decided to force-feed Xie Guichen with poisonous drugs instead. -
Chengdu City "610 Office" Extort "Confessions" by Torture at a Brainwashing Class
2004-01-14In 2002, all employers of Falun Gong practitioners had to pay 20,000 Yuan per employee per month for the brainwashing class. In 2003, the employers were forced to pay 5,000 to 6,000 Yuan per employed Falun Gong practitioner per month. They not only sent gangs to beat up practitioners, but also ordered them to steal farmers' harvests in the fields at midnight. -

Lingyuan City Dafa Practitioner, Mr Wu Yuan, Emaciated Beyond Recognition, IsTortured to Death
2004-01-13On December 8, 2003, Mr. Wu's son, Wu Gaoliang, received an unsigned letter from the 11th Confine Section of Chenyang Dabei Secondary Prison, stating that his father had oesophageal cancer and was to be released back to his family. On the morning of December 10, Wu Yuan's wife arrived at the hospital ward in Chenyang Prison and saw her husband's emaciated figure rolled up on a hospital bed. She didn't recognise him at first and had to ask him whether he was her husband. Wu Yuan nodded with difficulty. Crying, she embraced him for the last time. When he said something, the police interrupted and urged her to complete the procedures for bailing him out for medical treatment. She was forced to leave after only 30 minutes of seeing her husband. -

Since Changchun TV Broadcasts Exposing Human Rights Violations against Falun Gong Practitioners, Jiang's Regime Escalates Brutal Persecution to Unprecedented Heights
2004-01-13On March 5, 2002, Falun Gong practitioners in China's northeastern city of Changchun broadcast programmes over China's state-run airwaves, exposing the systematic atrocities against Falun Gong practitioners and Jiang Zemin's attempts to cover them up. This exposure of the truth produced fear in the highest levels of the regime. Enraged, Jiang Zemin ordered to "kill without pardon" those responsible for the broadcast. Over the next few days, more than 5,000 people believed to be practitioners of Falun Gong were detained during an all-out and unprecedented police sweep in Changchun, and the city was under near-martial law. Dozens were killed as a result of police brutality during the round up. A total media blackout severely hampered many attempts to contact locals and confirm individual reports. -

2004-01-13The Jiamusi Labour Camp continually forces Dafa practitioners to perform intense labour, and most of the time the work goes beyond a regular working day. They did not discriminate about what kind of work they would force us to do, as long as it made them money. Recently they got a contract with an individual who sent us piles of dirty flax materials that could only be found in refuse piles. The labour camp forced us to use these dirty materials to make cushions for car seats, which would not meet any reasonable quality standard at all. They did not mind hurting consumers in order to make themselves a profit. -
Investigation Report (II) of the Zhejiang Beggar Murder Case -- Family and Local People Confirm Chen Fuzhao's Psychosis
2004-01-13On June 26 2003, there was a series of murder cases of beggars using poison in Cangnan Town, Wenzhou, Zhejiang. After media reported high-ranking officials including the Public Security Minister Zhou Yongkang and the Provincial Officials in Zhejiang gave instructions to these cases, on July 2, Xinhua News Agency carried an article by Lu Jin in which this case was said to be "done with an investigation" and it was "suspected that it was a Falun Gong follower." Our findings showed that this case may well be another excuse made up at the order of high ranking officials in the Public Security Ministry to try to justify the persecution of Falun Gong. -

Heilongjiang Province Dafa Practitioner Ms. Pang Siyuan Passes Away as a Result of Abuse and Torture
2004-01-12On January 21, 2001, Pang Siyuan was transferred out of the brainwashing centre, together with her daughter. They were forcibly sent to the notorious Wanjia Labour Camp for one year of forced labour. Her husband was sent to the Changlinzi Labour Camp. A happy family was broken apart. Ms Siyuan had to endure more torture. She was detained again in November 2002, when she was cruelly tortured, both mentally and physically. Her physical condition kept deteriorating after she was released three months later. She died from the effects of these abuses and torments in May 2003. -

2004-01-12My family then paid the money to the labour camp in exchange for my mum's release. However, the labour camp officials didn't release my mother as they promised. Two weeks later, the local police notified us that my mum was at the police station and could be released to us for an additional amount of 3,000 yuan. My family was really angry at their blatant corruption, yet had no choice but to pay them the money in hopes of reuniting my mother with the family. Those local officials! They don't help or serve the local people but instead take every opportunity to extort money from good people for their personal gain. -
Names of Officials Responsible for the Torture and Extortion of Falun Dafa Practitioners in Nanyang City
2004-01-11Staff members from Nanyang City Political and Legal Committee "610 Office" have held many brainwashing sessions to persecute and extort money from practitioners. Every time a brainwashing session was held, the executive officers would appropriate large amounts of public money for the operation of such sessions. These funds are hard-earned money paid by the people of the district. However, on top of these extensive funds the brainwashing facility staff members force practitioners to pay 30 yuan in the name of room and board even though they are detained against their wishes and do not volunteer for these classes.
