Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Xu Jishan Tortured to Death at the Daqing Prison

In 2004, Dafa practitioner Mr. Xu Jishan was sentenced to three years in prison for distributing leaflets about Falun Gong and was incarcerated at the Daqing Prison. According to a reliable source, in the afternoon of June 7, 2005, Mr. Xu was choked to death with water by five inmates under the order of prison guards. -
The Brutal Torture of Falun Gong Practitioners in Qinduankou Prison

Since July 20, 1999 when the Chinese government started persecuting Falun Gong, many Falun Gong practitioners have been detained at the Qinduankou Prison in Hubei Province. In March 2004, when practitioner Mr. Wan Jixiang was detained at the Qinduankou Prison he was tortured until he was in critical condition. Upon medical examination, Mr. Wan was found to have cancer of the nose as well injuries directly related to being beaten. But the police at the prison administrative office still dragged their feet, delaying the paperwork required to release him on bail for medical treatment. Under the extreme torment and having to labour intensively, Mr. Wan's hair turned grey and a pain in his left ear became unbearable. Wan Jixiang passed away on May 24, 2005 after he was released on medical bail. -
Ms. Zhao Zhaoquan from Sichuan Province Tells of Her Own Persecution Experience
2005-06-17Ms. Zhao Zhaoquan, 65, is a retired teacher living in Luzhou City, Sichuan Province. She started practising Falun Gong in May 1996. After July 20, 1999, when the persecution began, Zhao was detained four times, imprisoned three times, sent to a drug rehabilitation centre twice, sent to brainwashing sessions once, placed under house arrest once, and sent to a forced labour camp for two years. Zhao was fined 15,800 yuan and had 295 yuan stolen from her. Since November 2000, Zhao has only received 200 yuan a month from her retirement pension, allowing her only minimum daily expenses. The rest of her retirement pension was taken to pay off her "fines." -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Jiang Xianjun Died As a Result of Persecution in 2004
2005-06-1747 year old Ms. Jiang Xianjun previously had breast cancer, which was cured by practising Falun Dafa. In April 2003, Ms. Jiang was arrested and sent to the Second Detention Centre. Ms. Jiang was bailed out on medical parole after her family paid a large sum of extortion money. Under huge pressure, her family would not allow her to contact people or practise Falun Dafa anymore. The Procuratorate, police, state security agents and neighbourhood administration all harassed her by phone, monitored her home, threatened her and interrogated her. She developed a cough, which progressively worsened and was diagnosed with late stage lung cancer in November 2003. Ms Jiang died on January 23, 2004. -
Practitioner Mr. Wen Cunfu and His Family Members Arrested in Liaoning Province
2005-06-16Police broke into the home of Mr. Wen Cunfu and arrested Mr. Wen's practitioner son, Mr. Wen Jingsong, and took him to the Hongqi Town Police Station. The next morning, Mr. Wen took his three-year-old granddaughter, his wife, second daughter and daughter-in-law to the police station to ask for the release of his son. The head policeman responded by ordering other police to violently handcuff Mr. Wen. However he had his granddaughter in his arms and she was crying and screaming. The police grabbed the little girl's feet and forcefully pulled her away from Mr. Wen. The little girl's ankles and chest was injured, and she was in pain for many days. Mr. Wen, his son (Wen Jingsong), his daughter-in-law, and his second daughter were all sent to prison. -
Seventeen Falun Dafa Practitioners from Xinjiang, Henan, Sichuan, and Jilin Provinces Die as a Result of Persecution
2005-06-16Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Shen Baoping, 28, was from Xinjiang Province. The persecutors savagely tortured him in the Changji Detention Centre simply because he remained firm in his belief in Falun Gong. The police stripped him of all his clothes and tied him onto a narrow plank. He was not allowed to get up even while eating or relieving himself. He suffered severe bodily and mental harm from this torture. Because Mr. Shen was steadfast in Falun Dafa, the lawless officials sentenced him to a prison term. While in prison, he remained firm in his belief and therefore suffered long-term torture. Shen Baoping was formerly a strong and healthy person, but was tortured so severely that he looked like a skeleton and was covered with wounds all over his body prior to his tragic and untimely death. -
How Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Chen Weijun Was Tortured Twenty-Nine Times
2005-06-16Ms. Chen Weijun has been held in the Heilongjiang Province Women's Prison in Harbin City for about three years. The tortures she has suffered there have included the following: Forced-feedings with a tube inserted into her throat or stomach for so long that green mould grew on it; being hung up by her arms, with her toes unable to touch the floor; being forced to sit for extended periods of time, being handcuffed with one arm forced over and behind the shoulder and the other arm twisted up from behind the back; being held in a small cell, and other types of brutal abuse. -
Father-in-Law and Daughter-in-Law Both Died Due to CCP Persecution
2005-06-16This tragedy happened to a family in a village in Junan County, Shandong Province. Fifty years ago, the father-in-law was beaten to death during the terrible Land Reform movement. Recently, his daughter-in-law was severely threatened and intimidated by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party). She was forbidden to practise Falun Gong and she passed away in 2004 due to relapsed illnesses. -
56 Year Old Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Xu Aiping from Hunan Province Is Tortured to Death
2005-06-15In April 2004, 56 year old Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Xu Aiping was arrested and sent to a brainwashing class, She was injected with unknown drugs, resulting in blurred vision, headaches, and loss of energy. She became mentally disoriented in January 2005. In the hospital a tracheotomy was performed because she had difficulty breathing. However, after five months of suffering in a hospital bed, she passed away on May 30, 2005. -
65 Year Old Wang Zhenhua Died from Persecution at Detention Centre in Shandong Province
2005-06-15Mr. Wang Zhenhua was 65 years old. He began to practise Falun Gong after he retired, and he became very healthy as a result. Guards at a detention centre tortured Wang Zhenhua cruelly. The policemen cuffed Mr. Wang's hands to an ice-cold telephone pole during a time when snow was everywhere on the ground. He suffered inhuman treatment in the prison. He was forced to work during the daytime and suffered from torture at night, day in and day out. On January 7, 2002, Mr. Wang's family paid a fine to bail him out. After his release, he became ill. He could not understand the persecution he had to suffer. He suffered constant pain over his entire body and did not recover from his illness. Wang Zhenhua died on November 3, 2004. -
Daqing City Police Torture Yang Yuhua to Death and Refuse to Return Her Body to the Family (Photo)

On May 12, 2005, police killed Ms Yang Yuhua from Daqing City during a force-feeding torture session in the Daqing City Detention Centre. After her death, the police refused to return her body to her family. According to an eyewitness, she was emaciated, her mouth and eyes were wide open, and her facial expression was that of being in extreme agony. -
Two Practitioners from Hebei Province Died Due to Persecution
2005-06-15Practitioners Mr. Liu Hongsheng and Mr. Li Xirui, both from Fucheng County, passed away in 2003 and 2004 respectively due to persecution. Mr. Liu Hongsheng was detained in a brainwashing class for a month, then harassed by police. He suffered tremendous physical and psychological pain and died on September 25, 2003. Mr. Li Xirui also suffered extensive physical and mental difficulties and passed away in 2004. -
Twenty-Seven Elderly Falun Dafa Practitioners Die as a Result of Prolonged Persecution
2005-06-1585 year old Mr. Yang Tongwu, was from Shandong Province. During the early stages of the persecution in 1999, he was compelled to give up practising Falun Dafa. He was forced to stand barefoot on an asphalt road on hot days at noon, which burned his feet and made them swell up. His grandson was supposed to join the army in 2003. Mr. Yang was once again told to give up his belief, or the army would reject his grandson. As a result, he gave up the practice. He also missed his daughter, who had been detained for over three years. The prolonged stress under this persecution took its toll on him, and he passed way in April 2005. -
Within 5 Days of Beginning to Practise Falun Gong, a Woman Dies of Persecution Suffered in Police Custody
2005-06-1442 year odl Ms Li Hui obtained a Falun Gong exercise VCD and found that the exercises benefited her greatly. Her entire body became relaxed. Therefore, she began to practise Falun Gong. But when the police found that she had the book "Zhuan Falun" in her possession, she was persecuted to death within five days of practising Falun Gong in police custody. The police asked the pathologist to perform an post- mortem. The falsified death diagnosis was "death by drowning." -
Practitioner Ms. Wang Aihua's Life is in Danger
2005-06-14Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Aihua has been arrested twice and tortured many times for practising Falun Dafa and following the principles of "Truthfulness, Benevolence and Forbearance" to become a better person. On March 7, 2003, she was sentenced to eight years in prison and sent to the Heilongjiang Women's Prison located in Harbin City. In the prison, Ms. Wang was tortured again with various vicious methods resulting in several heart attacks. Her life is now in danger.
