Police from Yanggu County, Shandong Province on January 14, 2002, abducted Falun Dafa practitioner Wang Fengwei from Liaocheng City, Shandong Province. She was sent to Shen County Detention Centre after being tortured in police custody. Police in the detention centre continued torturing her until she died at the end of November 2002.
Wang Fengwei, female, 40 years old, was an employee of Shen County Water Supply Company in Liaocheng City Shandong Province. She was dismissed from her job for being a Falun Dafa practitioner.
After July 20, 1999, Wang Fengwei went to Beijing to appeal in order to clarify the truth, and return justice to Dafa. She had been arrested and taken to jail eight times, but escaped the imprisonment many times.
When abducted by the police on January 14, 2002, Wang Fengwei was hanging up a banner that read, "Falun Dafa is Good." She was beaten to the brink of death, and then sent to Shen County Detention Centre. Police in the Detention Centre said; "We will not release her even if she dies here."
They used all methods and forms of torture such as handcuffing, "Tiger Bench" and electrocuting using electric batons to force her to give up Dafa. But she never lowered her head in front of the evil officers. She told them loudly, "I am determined to cultivate Dafa.." They tried to send her to two labour camps in Heilongjiang Province, but her admittance was rejected because her wounds were too severe.
Our fellow Falun Dafa practitioner Wang Fengwei died from the torture in Shen County Detention Centre at the end of November 2002.

Practitioner Wei Laihe Tortured to Death in Tangshan City, Hebei Province
On November 6, 2002, Wang Zhenhai, a policeman from Linxi Police Station in Guye District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, came to tell Wei Laihe that the director of the police station wanted to see him. After Wei arrived at the police station, the police arrested him, claiming that someone had seen him distributing truth-clarification materials and had reported him to the police. The police ransacked his home, but they failed to find any evidence. On November 10, Wei began a hunger strike to protest the illegal detention. On November 15, under the strong protest of Wei's family members, Wei was released. However, he passed away the day after he returned home.
