61-year-old Dafa practitioner Xing Xiuqin lived in Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province. She had been a well respected teacher for over 30 years.

Xing Xiuqin had benefited greatly from practising Falun Dafa and the practise was firmly rooted in her heart such that she could not and would not give up this gift given to her which had changed her so much. However the authorities
constantly monitored her for the past 3 years, denied her her freedom, her pension was stopped, she was fined for no legal reason, detained many times and in the end this kind lady, who upheld the truth and still kept compassion in her heart towards those who bore her illwill, was tortured to death in the most cruel way.

At around 8:00 pm on September 15, 2002, she was forcibly taken away from home and sent to Songlindian Police Station for attempted brainwashing. Because she refused to give up her belief in Dafa, she was handcuffed to a tree for three days and nights. Afterwards, she was hung for half a month, and as a result, she became paralysed in her lower body. How can one imagine the pain and suffering this lady endured for two weeks of being hung up? While in detention, she was denied family visitation. At about 4:00 pm on November 16, 2002, the police asked her family to pick her up and take her home. When she was picked up, she was already cold all over her body. She died the next morning at around 4:00 am on November 17. When her family went to the town government to find out the reason for her death, the officials refused to meet with them.

Although there is an information blockade in China, let it be known that the truth of these atrocities are being told to the world. The crimes of the heartless persecutors are being exposed and we ask that the people of the world help the Falun Gong practitioners in China and stop this insane persecution!
