Celebrations for the tenth anniversary of Falun Dafa’s introduction to the public began on Saturday, 11th May. On (Monday, 13th May, would be the highlight of the celebrations because it is International Falun Dafa Day. During the following week, various activities would be taking place around the world.
The very first performance of ’The Lotus Flower’ was held at the Konsthallen art gallery, in Arvika, Sweden.
It is the story of a lotus flower…
…she grows up out of the dirty mud, but on the way up all the dirt runs off her and she remains pure and as indestructible as a diamond.
This is precisely what Falun Gong and cultivation is about. To become, in the midst of this world’s difficulties and conflicts, firmly upright and noble in heart and moral character; to leave aspiration, competition and selfish motives behind. In this way, a person’s original, good nature can come forth. Harmony will dominate the human mind, which makes it possible to be able to think of others before one’s self.
In all situations, to practise Falun Gong is to try to act according to the universal principle:
Zhen-Shan-Ren-
Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance
To Assimilate
Scriptures cultivate the heart
Practice trains the body
One day achieve consummation
Zhen-Shan-Ren preserved

The Chinese character for ’Ren’ consists of the character for ’heart’ and for ’knife’. To continue to maintain Truthfulness and Compassion – with a knife in one’s heart – that is Ren.
We have now conveyed the story of the lotus flower.
When this page in history’s book is turned, that which has happened will exist as a fairy-tale; a fairy-tale about a hundred million lotus flowers who upon encountering evil could maintain their faith in Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance; could face their oppressors with unselfish compassion; and could, by risking their lives for goodness, get a great number of hardened hearts to soften and a great number of icy eyes to weep.
The world is always going to remember their invincible purity.
To Melt into Fa
Buddha’s light radiates everywhere,
everything becomes bright and harmonious.
Together diligent progress,
further along the path is bright.
