Openly and Nobly Clarifying the Truth

When I used to clarify the truth about the persecution of falun gong in China I dared not tell others that I was a Falun Gong practitioner, in order to protect myself and ensure my safety. Later, one experience helped me to enlighten that this was a faulty notion.

One fellow practitioner lives in a building with "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" posted on his door. Some practitioners felt that he should not publicly announce that he is a practitioner, but he insisted, "What is there to fear? Be open and honourable. Teacher is watching."

Through this, I recalled Teacher's words in "Environment,"

"Think about it: Even people's claim that they have evolved from apes is able to be highly regarded. Yet with this great Dafa of the universe, you are embarrassed to give it a correct position--this is human beings' true shame." (Essentials for Further Advancement)

I dared not acknowledge that I was a Dafa practitioner, but asked others to remember "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." I didn't even achieve "Truthfulness." Wasn't I doing myself a disservice? Wasn't it a shame? How did gods regard this? How did Teacher look at this? My method of self-protection was based on human notions, but I am a Dafa practitioner who walks on the road to godhood, and my starting point should be on the Fa. Only by having righteous thoughts and actions and honourably walking on the path arranged by Teacher with His protection, can I be safe.

Yesterday when I clarified the truth, I did so without trouble. It was easy to explain the truth and advise people to make the three withdrawals (From the Chinese Communist Praty and its associate groups). Later I walked into a hair salon, with the name of "Lead Perm and Dye Shop," printed on the building. The word "Lead" was especially striking to me. Wasn't Teacher encouraging me in doing the right thing?
