The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is preparing to hold its "Seventeenth Conference" on October 15th. Meanwhile, international voices of justice are appealing to the CCP to stop its human rights abuses prior to the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. However, all police stations, judicial bureaus, community Party councils, municipal governments, Party secretaries, public security sections, and other departments manipulated by the Party in Zhuanghe City, Liaoning Province have, under the CCP's top-down commands, begun harassing Falun Dafa practitioners and instigating manipulated civilians to report practitioners to authorities. As of this writing, several Falun Dafa practitioners have met with persecution. The following are some accounts of persecution cases:

At around 7 p.m. on September 5th, 2007, two practitioners (husband and wife) from Houpaotai, Zhuanghe City were arrested by officers of the Xingda Police Station. When their son went to the police station to enquire about the reason for his parent's arrest, he was not given any reply. Thereafter, the male practitioner was released while his wife Li Shuying was sent to the Zhuanghe Detention Centre.

At around 10 p.m. on September 5, 2007, Chief Zhu Wenxi of the Guangmingshan Police Station, instructor Zhang Tao, policemen Qiao Degang, and Li Zezhong, together with Qianwangcun Village Chief Jiang Wenfang, Village Party secretary Zhang Youde, Village Community leader Zhao Yusheng and Propaganda Chief Wang Huiran, etc. broke into the home of practitioners Wang Zhongliang and Liu Guidong. Without a word they began ransacking the place. Wang Zhongliang was able to escape safely, while Liu was taken to the station by the policemen. The next afternoon, only after Liu's daughter's strong protests, Liu was released.

At around 6 a.m. on September 6th, 2007, a practitioner's home in Laomiaoling, Zhuanghe City was broken into and ransacked by officers of Xingda Police Station. Dafa books, cassette tapes, leaflets exposing the persecution were taken away. As this practitioner could not move around easily and needed other people to take care of her, the police did not arrest her in the end, but nevertheless fined her relatives 10,000 yuan1.

At around 6 a.m. on September 6th, 2007, Mayor Kong Xiangke of Guangmingshan Town led a group of gangsters to break into the home of practitioner Sun Benye from Jinxiangou, Guangmingshan Town. They confiscated Dafa books and materials.

At around 8 p.m. on September 5th, 2007, the Guangmingshan Town Party secretary Li Dashan and the Village Public Security Bureau leader Yu Panbo led a gang of gangsters and broke into the home of practitioner He Shuying from Jinxiangou Village in Xuanchengshan, Guangmingshan Town. They confiscated Dafa books and materials. He Shuying was also taken to the police station before being sent to the Zhuanghe Detention Centre.

In early September 2007, Deputy Mayor Lu Xun of Mingyang Town (also the Judicial Bureau Chief), along with Liu Naisheng from the police station, harassed practitioners Yang Sumei and Shao Yushan at their homes.

A few other practitioners have also met with harassment. Some town and village police stations have sent patrol cars to every village and town.
