from your sleep
the seeds you sow
now the poison you reap.
Soon your hour
will come to pass
the truth finding light
freedom from the shadows at last.China, from clouds grey
to a new sunrise
a star shining gold
emerging from darkest skies.
With a heart broken
tears too bitter to weep
behind walls and blinded eyes
come, awaken from your sleep.
