Jiang's Regime Threatened My Graduate Advisor in China

I have participated in numerous activities that oppose the Jiang regime's persecution of Falun Gong, such as signature drives and demonstrations. As such, my picture was taken and filed by an informant, and China's National Security Bureau also has my personal information on record. Fortunately, my family members are all in the United States, and therefore my relatives cannot be directly threatened.

In March 2000, I invited my Graduate Advisor from China to visit the United States. After my professor successfully obtained his passport, a special agent from China's national security bureau went to the University security department and threatened my professor. Out of fear, my cautious professor stopped using my invitation letter and letter of assurance to apply for a visit to the United States. The professor called my former classmate's mother and told her about the whole incident.

China's special agents use citizens' money to conduct such illegal deeds, and this cannot be accepted or tolerated by the general public. […]
