V. The big wave of civilisation's returning

Science itself takes up the challenge

Western Science has developed rapidly in the last 300 years. Based on observation and experiments of the tangible material world, it is called "empirical science." The biggest limit of this empirical science is that it is not able to verify the existence of the spirit, the movement of the spirit, the relationship between spirit and substance, and the effects of spirit on substance. However, the human body is a unified whole of spirit and substance. In addition, empirical science has left us, and even our descendants, with too many unsolvable difficulties, such as shortage of resources, environmental pollution, extinction of species, etc. The crises have come one by one.

Under this circumstance, some bold scientists have begun to explore the fields that empirical science has been avoiding, and their research results have broadened people's perspectives. Scientist Ian Stevenson (M.D.) has produced a lot of amazing results in his research on reincarnation. His work, such as Twenty Cases Suggestive of Reincarnation, Children Who Remember Previous Lives: A Question of Reincarnation, and Reincarnation and Biology: A Contribution to the Etiology of Birthmarks and Birth Defects, with their high academic reputation, won acceptance for the research on reincarnation in a large segment of the population. Moreover, research on near death experiences has strongly indicated that living beings have activities after the flesh body dies. It has also pointed to the existence of other dimensions and other forms of living beings. Many published books, papers and research results have already broken through the boundaries and conclusions of conventional empirical science. Although they cannot be explained by empirical science, these results challenge atheism a great deal. Namely, other dimensions do exist, there are higher-level living beings, and human lives reincarnate according to the "relationship of cause and effect."

Looking back at the process of this research, we find that the methods used are not those of conventional empirical science, such as experimenting, returning to original state, analysing and proofing. Instead, researchers study lives and the human body directly, and this is very close to the way the ancient Chinese science studied the human body and living beings. Actually, the concepts of other dimensions and reincarnation exist everywhere in Chinese traditional culture.

Most people who have near death experiences have a very remarkable experience, which is, at one single moment, they can see clearly everything they have done in their whole life. This is because activities that did not leave any mark in this dimension are clearly recorded in another dimension. At that moment, people feel guilty and repent for every wrong deed they have done in their lives. The research also pointed out that most people who have had a near death experience change their worldview afterwards. They become more compassionate, positive, and no longer seek fame and self-interest. This is solid evidence from modern science that validates old traditions which value virtue and compassion; it is certainly not the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s atheistic propaganda of "opiate of the masses" or "spiritual mind-control."

Meditation becomes popular in western society

In this century, the field of frontier science has become broader. The American magazine Newsweek, on September 27th, 2004, reported recent scientific evidence of the relationship between the spirit and physical health. Actually, the United States government spends 16 million dollars every year on research in this field. According to a government survey, 50% of Americans are trying some spiritual methods to bring about physical heath. The Massachusetts Medical School offers a course in which people are taught how to reach physical and spiritual health via meditation, and more than fifteen thousand people have taken this class. The research found that meditation is useful to reduce pain and anxiety. A psychologist at the University of Kentucky, Ruth Baer, said that, in the past, the modern scientific community ignored this field, but now more and more researchers are starting to pay attention to it.

Meditation, such a simple method, has not been recognised in western society until recently, but in ancient Chinese society, every educated person was taught to meditate and was expected to do so. The Washington Post reported new research results from Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, which say that being psychologically stressed out speeds up the ageing process. Most Chinese people would smile at this "news," because anyone with a bit of superficial understanding of Chinese traditional culture would not feel that this is something new.

VI. The returning of lives, the conqueror of atheism

As part of a worldwide movement of returning to tradition, research on Qigong (exercises for cultivating "qi" or "vital energy") began in China in the 1970s. Research institutes recorded a large amount of evidence of supernormal phenomena and human supernormal abilities, such as the supernormal ability of clairvoyance and the ability of teleportation. Thus, practising Qigong reached its peak of popularity. Some practised Qigong just for healing illnesses and keeping fit, and later, many people saw that they could gain fame and money through Qigong, so they started to pursue supernormal abilities. However, some people lost their supernormal abilities as a result of showing them off. Many people were confused as to what was the truth and what was illusion, and were torn between the concepts of materialism and idealism. Although many high-ranking CCP officers had been enjoying healing illness and keeping fit with the help of a Qigong master, they still argued over the issue of "Materialism and Idealism" inside the CCP.

In 1992, Falun Gong was introduced to the public. Master Li Hongzhi told people at the very beginning of his lectures and in his book, Zhuan Falun, that the primary purpose of his coming to the public was "to guide people to high levels." He also told the Qigong practitioners clearly and directly that Qigong was simply called cultivation practise in the past, and it existed in traditional Chinese culture. Falun Gong is cultivation practise, and its practitioners follow the principle of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," improve themselves by upgrading their mind set or moral character and doing five sets of exercise. Cultivators' bodies will be transformed completely, and finally one can reach enlightenment. Master Li Hongzhi revealed the mysteries of cultivation practise in Chinese culture in simple, clear language.

In just seven years, and by word of mouth alone, Falun Gong spread to nearly one hundred million people, from everywhere and every level of society in China. Under several decades of the CCP's brute-force control, which destroyed Chinese traditional culture, many people had become stubborn atheists. However, after practising cultivation and witnessing the miraculous healing of illness, which could not be explained by modern physiology, and even seeing the other dimensions, several decades of atheism's influence disappeared at once. The traditional culture of thousands of years was awakened once again in China. Man's wish to return to his true self is natural and good, however, it perturbed the CCP's evil spirit.

In seven years, although the number of Falun Gong practitioners had become very large, they never tried to build up any business or enterprise in Chinese society, where money is highly valued. They did not try to open a super company, despite the large number of practitioners. They did not even have an office. This shows that Falun Gong practitioners do not seek influence and power in society. What they consider important in their lives is practising the exercises and reading Falun Gong books, which guide practitioners to practise cultivation. So, when the basic right of doing the exercises and reading Falun Gong books were violently taken away, Falun Gong practitioners adopted the most peaceful ways to appeal.

However, Falun Gong practitioners' peaceful appeals made Jiang Zemin, an ambitious and narrow-minded person, jealous and angry. On the evening of April 25th in 1999, after the Falun Gong practitioners' appeal, Jiang wrote a letter to CCP's Politburo members stating, "The number of the participants in this incident is the second largest after the one in 1989 in Beijing. Cannot Marxism, materialism and atheism, in which we in the Communist Party believe, defeat the beliefs of Falun Gong? If not, it would be a big joke."

It is really a big joke that the 50-year-old evil spirit of the Communist Party, which has maintained control in China for 50 years by beating, destroying, robbing, killing, and deceiving, tries to challenge a 5000-year-old culture which was given to man by gods. Low level spirits may control and enslave humankind, but they are afraid of gods. When people have righteous belief, all the gods above will help them--this is common sense in the community of cultivators. The evil spirit, which has brought harm to China for 50 years, has now met its conqueror.

The evil spirit was anxious, so Jiang Zemin screamed, "Eliminate Falun Gong within three months!" The evil spirit tried to not only eliminate Falun Gong from the land of China, but also stretched its tentacles to every corner of the world. It used all the methods and experiences of torturing people, which it had developed and used for the past 80 years.

It has been five years since the persecution of Falun Gong began. The CCP has exhausted all the methods they can think of, still its goal has not been reached. On the contrary, the murderers who participated in the persecution of Falun Gong are afraid of Falun Gong practitioners now. The number of Falun Gong practitioners is increasing. There are practitioners in more than 60 countries and from all ethnicities and walks of life. Master Li Hongzhi's books, which are banned by the CCP, have been translated into more than 30 languages and published all over the world.

How did this happen? Facing the most shameless evil and unscrupulous political criminals, a group of unarmed kind people, who just want to be good people in society, peacefully resisted, and they have not been eliminated. What power is supporting them? Actually, it is the manifestation of the gods' power and wisdom in the human world. If one still does not believe it, then please think about it. Why is the Communist Party so afraid of all the theists? From killing Tibetans to killing Falun Gong practitioners and underground Christian church members, one sees that kind-hearted people with spiritual beliefs are always the objects of the Communist Party's cruel killing. This is because the conflict between gods and this low level spirit is unavoidable. Gods are the conquerors of this low level spirit. A normal society is not afraid of any thoughts, and a country that is advancing will allow different beliefs. Only the Communist Party irrationally tries to control people's thoughts with brutal and outrageous methods, and only this evil spirit has such a desire. However, it has already failed. In fear, it is waiting for the judgement and punishment from gods.

VII. Conclusion

Chinese traditional culture has gone through a lot of difficulties, and in the past fifty years it has been severely damaged by the CCP. However, the greatest perception of Chinese culture is its understanding of the principle of mutual-generation and mutual-inhibition, a principle which posits that things reverse when they reach an extreme.

In five years, Falun Gong practitioners, through the sacrifice of their blood and lives, have proved that righteous belief is solid and unshakable. The great character of the Chinese people has been manifested by ordinary Falun Gong practitioners, and the stories of the great Chinese heroes told for generations have also been embodied by Falun Gong practitioners.

History has selected the Chinese language and culture, and assigned its broad content and responsibility. Chinese culture will be purified and restored to its original nature, and all mysteries will be revealed. After the current disaster, the light of the universal law will shine down from heaven.
