A primary school in Southern Holland invited Falun Gong practitioners to introduce Falun Gong and to tell the children the meaning of the “Petal of Peace” activity.

This was an opportunity for the children to learn more about Chinese culture. While the practitioners were demonstrating the exercises and explaining how to make peace petals, they told the teachers and thirty-six students about the persecution of Falun Gong taking place in China. Practitioners encouraged everyone to make peace petals as symbols of truth and hoped that they would give support to help to end the persecution of Falun Gong. Peace petals can also show everyone’s concern for practitioners in China.

The children were happy to show the peace petals they made to everyone. Although there was only one and a half hours of time, the children were all very active. Teachers also liked the T-shirts with Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance printed on them.
