Little Dafa practitioner Fadu and her mother Jane Dai Zhizhen were invited to a hundred-year-old elementary school in the Norwegian Capital of Oslo on May the 26th. Fadu and her mum told the pupils and teachers there Fadu's story and taught them to fold lotus flowers with coloured paper. Their visit to the school left a profound impression on the pupils and teachers.

About two weeks later, Norwegian practitioners were invited back to the school. This time the practitioners were to demonstrate the five Falun Gong exercises to a class in the seventh grade during a two hour P.E. lesson.

Two practitioners and an eight-month-old baby belonging to one of them arrived at the school on Friday afternoon. Before the class, the teacher told the practitioners that some of the students were not so well-behaved and might bring some negative influence on the class. At that time the practitioners just listened to the teacher smilingly without saying anything because they believed that Dafa can rectify all that is not righteous.

The P.E. class began. As the practitioners taught the students to practise the exercises, most of the students were attentive. Even those who were a little mischievous started to calm down. To begin with, two girls did not want to join in and sat aside watching the others learning the exercises, but after a while they too gave it a try.

When teaching the exercises, the practitioners told the students that practising the exercises is just part of Falun Dafa, which also teaches the importance of being good people, to live their lives by the principle of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," and to face challenges with bravery.

When teaching the fifth exercise, a sitting meditation, the atmosphere became more lively and the students tried hard to fold their legs into the lotus position. Some of the students could cross their legs after several tries. When meditating the students were very quiet but the eight-month-old baby started to make some noise. One of the practitioners said, "Let's regard this as a kind of test and see if we could continue with our meditation without being bothered." Immediately the students calmed down. Even the naughty ones that the teacher was worried about sat quietly.

The two hours went by quickly. After the class, the teacher was amazed to find that everything went smoothly because the P.E. classes are usually chaotic. The teacher said that this might be their only chance to learn Falun Gong and he planned to write an article about today's unique lesson and post the article on the school website.
