Indonesia: Falun Dafa Books Displayed at the Largest Book Fair in Southeast Asia

The 23rd Indonesia Book Fair was held on September 24-28, 2003, in Jakarta. It is the largest book fair in Southeast Asia.

The Falun Dafa booth displayed Falun Dafa books in more than 30 languages, including Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Spanish, Thai, and Indonesian and so on. As China is persecuting Falun Gong, the booth looked prominent at the book fair. Many people asked for information and materials about the facts of Falun Gong, and raised questions. People also people looked at the photos depicting Falun Dafa's popularity around the world and the persecution in China. Tourists from China came to the booth to look at materials.

While Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the exercises, people passing by stopped and learnt to practise the exercises in groups, and many people, including government officials bought Falun Gong books and exercise instruction VCDs to learn to practise at home. The book fair lasted for five days, and about ten thousand people came to the Falun Dafa booth to ask for materials.
