Purifying oneself and Concentration

Since I started to practise cultivation, I have never watched TV soap operas. In order to clarify the truth (of Falun Gong) through providing something for the general public to read or listen to, I recently collected some reference information and tried to write some articles. After reading two books written by advocates of democracy, I was unable to calm my mind down when sending forth righteous thoughts. If we want to spread the Fa or clarify the truth in ordinary people’s form, we need to study the Fa more attentively with a peaceful mind every day and purify ourselves with Dafa.

After probing into the reasons for my uneasy thoughts, especially at this critical moment of the lawsuit against Jiang Zemin, I perceived the seriousness of the problem. When looking further into the roots of my attachments, I found that from the depths of my heart I had had the ordinary people’s sentiment of expecting quick results. I was often concerned about results and ignored the process along the way. As a matter of fact, cultivation is just the opposite. That’s why Master Li wants to gradually eliminate our mentalities of ordinary people through validating the Fa. To help us progress, Master Li has used all kinds of things, including the ones we think are most sacred, to eradicate our attachments. Take elimination of the evil head for example. We have worked hard for more than a year, and nevertheless we still step up efforts to proceed with it. The process is actually a kind of cultivation. The Fa has been here since long ago, and so has the ultimate result. Therefore, the final outcome is waiting for its due time. What we should do now is simply follow Master Li’s arrangements with righteous thoughts, and there is no need to consider any other possibilities.

Master Li has long told us that Fa-validation is to change (the cosmos) from the microcosmic level. Even if Fa-validation is completed tomorrow, the evil might still be rampant at its most superficial level today. If we think of problems with humans’ concepts, we may be caught in the trap of the old forces. Then the portion that we haven’t cultivated may affect the power of our righteous thoughts.

When sending forth righteous thoughts, we need to have a peaceful mind with a momentum that can eradicate the evil completely. We must keep our main consciousness highly clear at all times so as to keep righteous thoughts around our bodies constantly. Only by doing so can the righteous thoughts of our worldwide Dafa practitioners bring the evil head to Court. In other words, the result of the trial is neither decided by the judges in Chicago, nor by the practitioners there, but it is decided by every one of us. It is as if we are casting an inescapable dragnet to catch the evil head; therefore, every one of us must guard the mesh we are responsible for, and never leave any loophole for the evil to escape. Perhaps this is what we are supposed to do at present.
