France: Falun Gong Practitioners Rally in Paris to End 22 Years of Persecution

Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated outside the Chinese Embassy in Paris, France on July 17, 2021, marking 22 years since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began the persecution of this peaceful spiritual discipline. They also held a torture reenactment calling for an end to the persecution. Five politicians sent letters of support to the Falun Dafa Association.

Practitioners held rallies simultaneously in nine other major cities in France, including Lyon, Marseille, Strasbourg, Bordeaux, Nantes, Toulouse, Guadeloupe, Martinique, and Réunion.

Politicians who sent letters of support to the Falun Dafa Association in France included Vice President of the Senate Nathalie Delattre, Senator Monique de Marco, and Members of the National Assembly Alain David, Jean-Luc Lagleize, and Philippe Naillet. They condemned the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong, and expressed their support for Falun Gong practitioners.

Tang Hanlong, president of the Falun Dafa Association in France, gives a speech at the rally. Fiorella Luna, representative of End Transplant Abuse in China (ETAC,) exposes the CCP’s crime of organ harvesting.

Tang Hanlong, president of the Falun Dafa Association in France, exposed various means of the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, including imprisonment, torture, forced labor, injection of psychiatric drugs, as well as forced organ harvesting from living practitioners. Simon, a multimedia and journalism professional, followed the Falun Gong parade to the Chinese Embassy. He told the reporter, “The Chinese Communist Party attempts to change the rules of the world. It suppresses people that practice a religion and various groups who hold different understandings. I’m against the Chinese Communist Party. It must collapse! The persecution must stop! The Chinese people must awaken!”

Yallur, a computer engineer, said, “A totalitarian regime would do anything to keep its power. It ruthlessly persecutes any group that could pose a threat to its rule. Organ harvesting is shameful. Falun Gong doesn’t have any political pursuit. They simply are a large number of people. Suppressing lawful citizens is what dictators do.”

Natalie, another local resident said, “The issue of persecution has been extended to Western countries, so we have to unite against the CCP’s brutality!”
