Spain: At the Chinese Embassy Falun Dafa Practitioners Commemorate April 25 and Call for an End to the Persecution

Falun Dafa practitioners in Spain gathered outside the Chinese Embassy on the afternoon of April 23, 2021. They commemorated the 10,000 practitioners who peacefully appealed 22 years ago on April 25 in Beijing. They told people about the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution and collected signatures to call for it to end.

Practitioners in Spain held activities in front of the Chinese Embassy on April 23, 2021, to raise awareness of the CCP’s ongoing persecution.

Practitioners’ banners and posters reminded people of the CCP’s ongoing persecution of Falun Dafa in China that has persisted for 22 years. Many passersby were attracted by the informative banners, peaceful exercise music, and demonstration of the Falun Dafa exercises. They paused to read the messages on the posters and flyers and signed the petition to support practitioners’ efforts to end the persecution.

Two women who live near the Chinese Embassy said that they've often seen practitioners peacefully protesting outside the Embassy, but this was the first time they stopped to ask why they were there. After they learned about the CCP’s crimes of harvesting organs from imprisoned practitioners, one of them said that it sounded like a nightmare. “I don’t believe whatever the CCP has to say, including the number of people who have been infected by the coronavirus. The CCP never tells the truth,” she said. The other woman was shocked at the CCP’s brutality and said that she would share the information with her friends.

An elderly man stopped before the displays and said that he knew all about what the CCP has done over so many years. “Enough is enough! The CCP should be quickly disintegrated so that peace can return to the world!”

A Chinese young man passing by learned the true situation about the CCP. He decided to sever his ties with the Party by quitting it and its affiliated organizations. He said that he would share the information with his family and friends. He thanked practitioners and told them to be safe.

Some passersby were drawn by the graceful exercise movements and followed along. A woman liked the beautiful origami lotus flowers and asked for one for her daughter. She was happy to learn that the exercises were taught free of charge and said she was interested in learning.

A young woman who stopped to read the information was shocked to learn of the CCP’s crimes. She signed the petition calling for an end to the persecution and said, “The CCP commits crimes against Chinese people and humanity. I wholeheartedly support you! Keep up your efforts!”

Drivers in their cars honked their horns to show their support. Some rolled down their windows and saluted practitioners or gave them a thumbs-up.
