  • Finland: Protesting in Helsinki Against the CCP's Persecution of Falun Gong

    The practitioners talked to local people about the human rights atrocities that the regime in China has committed against Falun Gong practitioners including torture, the harvesting of organs from living practitioners, and the deaths of over 3000 innocent practitioners. Although it was cold and raining on the day, many people stopped to listen, took flyers, and signed a petition to show their support.
  • Finland: Raising Awareness about the Persecution of Falun Gong on International Human Rights Day

    December 10th, 2008 was International Human Rights Day. In Rovaniemi, Falun Gong practitioner Xiao Jin and her husband Tommy, displayed posters explaining how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) brutally persecutes Falun Gong practitioners in mainland China. There were also posters calling on people to help rescue Xiao Jin's mother.
  • Germany: Exposing the Persecution of Falun Gong at Essen Christmas Market

    Regional Falun Gong practitioners took the opportunity during the pre-Christmas season, when the market is crowded with people, to organise an information booth and a rally to expose the persecution of Falun Gong in China for three consecutive Saturday's. Because of the Christmas market, several thousand people saw the display.
  • Switzerland: Falun Gong Practitioners Expose the Atrocities of the Chinese Communist Party

    December 10th was International Human Rights Day, as well as being cold and wintry. Despite the weather, Swiss and German Falun Gong practitioners still managed to hold a Falun Gong 'information day' in Basel city centre to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong.
  • Sweden: Falun Gong Practitioners Call for an End to the Persecution on International Human Rights Day

    December 10th was International Human Rights Day and the day of the Nobel Prize Awards. Falun Gong practitioners in Sweden held activities to call for attention to the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China. Candlelight and a bonfire lit up banners reading 'Falun Gong' and 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance'
  • Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Hold Activities on the Eve of International Human Rights Day

    On the eve of International Human Rights Day, Munich Falun Gong practitioners went to the Chinese Embassy and held activities to protest against the persecution of Falun Gong and raise awareness about the 46 million withdrawals from the evil CCP. The activity obtained support from passers-by, many of whom signed the petition.
  • Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Expose the CCP's Atrocities in Front of the Chinese Consulate in Munich

    Falun Gong practitioners braved the cold and continued to publicise the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) atrocities in front of the Chinese Consulate. The practitioners wanted to inform the public that the CCP has persecuted Falun Gong practitioners using many different methods of torture and has even harvested their organs while they were still alive.
  • Germany: Information Booth Set Up in Downtown Munich to Expose CCP Atrocities

    On August 16, 2008, in front of St. Michael's Church in downtown Munich, Falun Gong practitioners from Bavaria, Germany set up an information booth to support 41 million Chinese people who have renounced the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and to expose the CCP's atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.
  • Switzerland: Falun Gong Welcomed at Fribourg Health Expo

    This year, the Falun Gong booth added a new component – Chinese Calligraphy – in addition to the exercise demonstration, the exposure of the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong, and the signature drive to end the persecution. A practitioner good at calligraphy wrote the Chinese characters for "Falun Dafa Is Great" and "The World Needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" for visitors.
  • Germany: The Chinese Embassy Refuses Falun Gong Practitioner’s Passport Renewal

    Falun Gong practitioner Yuan Mei Xian has lived in Hamburg for fifteen years. On the 8th of September, 2008, her Chinese passport was due for renewal. When she applied, the Chinese Embassy notified her saying that her old passport could not be extended and that if she wanted to apply for a new passport she would have to go to the Ministry of Public Security in China.
  • Norway: Raising Awareness about Falun Gong at a Health Expo in Oslo

    An annual Health Expo was held in a Gymnasium in Oslo on November 21st. The three day Expo was held on a weekend and attracted a lot of people. Since Falun Gong has physically and spiritually benefited over one hundred million people around the world, the Falun Gong group has been invited to participate in the event every year. Many visitors came over to watch practitioners' exercise demonstration and ask questions about Falun Gong.
  • Radio Free Asia: Former Governor of Hong Kong Chris Patten Challenges the CCP's Rejection of Western Democracy

    Radio Free Asia broadcasting station interviewed Sichuanese internet writer Ran Fei Yun, who said that he supports Chris Patten’s view, but also added, “I see that the headline should be the CCP is challenging the West but the CCP is not China. The CCP persistently mixes up notions of things like country, nationality and political power.” He continued, saying that the Western Media and its relevant personages should distinguish between the people and the rulers. Chris Patten says that China’s economy is very successful; this is the result of the CCP’s propaganda
  • Germany: The President of the German Green Party Urges the German Chancellor to Discuss Human Rights with the Chinese Government

    On October 26th it was reported by Voice of Germany that Chairman Volker Beck of the Green Party stated that German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel should be talking about China's human rights status with the Chinese Communist Party during her second trip to Beijing. Mr. Beck said in the interview that he hoped that during this visit the issue of human rights would be discussed and that Chancellor Merkel should urge the CCP to approve the international covenant regarding civil and political rights which has been committed by the Chinese government
  • Finland: Raising Awareness about the Persecution of Falun Gong in China

    “It is very important that you clarify the truth to the Finns. You should contact the Finnish government and MPs so that they would not see only the economic situation with China. They should say no to the CCP’s persecution. In history, the Finns knew that the Soviet Union was bad. People should know about the (evil nature of the) CCP. ”
  • Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Hold a Large Parade in Berlin

    On November 15th, 2008, more than a thousand Falun Gong practitioners from twenty-five countries in Europe and Asia held a large scale parade in Berlin, appealing to Europeans and the rest of the world to pay attention to human rights and religious issues in China.
