Sweden: Falun Gong Practitioners Meet Christmas shoppers and Commuters on World Human Rights Day

On the 10th December 2004, World Human Rights day, practitioners went to Gothenburg city centre to inform Christmas shoppers about the persecution against Falun Gong in China. Many people stopped by to read the posters that illustrated details of the human rights crimes that have been committed on the orders of Jiang Zemin and his communist regime. -
Switzerland: Exposing the Torture Methods Used in China’s Labour Camps to Force Falun Gong Practitioners to Betray their Conscience

On a Saturday in November, Falun Gong practitioners met in Glarus Town Hall Square and set up an information booth. They talked to local people about the human rights atrocities that have been perpetrated against people who practise Falun Gong in China over the past five years. Passersby were shocked when they heard that over 1,100 people have lost their lives because they practice this peaceful meditation and exercise system, and because they refuse to renounce their belief in Falun Gong’s guiding principles of truthfulness, compassion and tolerance. -
Turkey: Short Stories of Turkish people Embracing Falun Gong
2004-12-11One day I went to Istanbul on a business trip and met eight schoolteachers in a restaurant. They were chatting and I introduced myself to them. I mentioned Falun Gong to them and the ongoing persecution in China and told them that the main instigator of the persecution, former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin, is being sued in the international courts of many countries for the crime of genocide. They showed great interest in Falun Gong and some of them immediately wanted to learn the exercises. -
Turkey: A Market Manager Supports Activities to Promote Falun Gong

On 4th and 5th December 2004, practitioners held two days of events to promote Falun Dafa and raising awareness of the persecution in the marketplace of Ankara. The practitioners told people about Falun Gong and demonstrated the five sets of exercises. People were pleasantly surprised and stopped to watch. -
Germany: Exposing the Torture Against China’s Falun Gong Practitioners during the “China Meets Europe” Economic Convention

As soon as we heard about the Hamburg Economic Convention from November the 11th to the 27th 2004, we decided to organise an anti-torture exhibition near the meeting location. This included re-enactments and demonstrations of the methods of torture used to force Falun Gong practitioners in China to renounce their beliefs. -
United Kingdom: Promoting Falun Gong and Exposing the Persecution in Leeds and Middlesborough

On November the 27th and 28th, a group of British Falun Gong practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition and activities to promote Falun Gong in Leeds and then Middlesborough. Leeds and Middlesborough were the final stops of the anti-torture exhibition tour by practitioners from North Britain. Previously, the tour visited Newcastle, Sunderland, York and Huddersfield. -

People were busy shopping for Christmas on the last Saturday in November but still found time to show their concern for the Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted in China. Lots of people passed our stalls and took leaflets. After they had read through the leaflet carefully and found out more, they came back to sign a petition to help stop the persecution. -
United Kingdom: Revealing the Truth of the Persecution to the People of Middlesbrough

Despite the chilly weather, the practitioners determinedly told the people of Middlesbrough about Falun Gong and exposed the terrible crimes that have been committed against Falun Gong practitioners under the direct orders of former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin.Many people signed a petition calling for Jiang to be brought to justice in a court of law. -
Turkey: Promoting Falun Gong and Exposing the Jiang Faction’s Persecution (1)
2004-12-04After learning and practising the five sets of exercises, he felt Falun Dafa was very good. This young Turkish man who had just obtained the Fa started to tell people the facts about Falun Gong. A Chinese textile delegation with over thirty members visited Turkey and stayed in a hotel not far from his home. He was delighted to find out about this. With eagerness, he found the person in charge of the delegation. The enthusiastic young man told him how good Falun Gong is and that he practises Falun Gong. His statements dumbfounded the delegation leader. -
United Kingdom: People Show Support for China’s Persecuted Practitioners During an Anti-Torture Exhibition in Huddersfield

The practitioners set up a table for collecting petition signatures and some poster boards revealing how Falun Gong practitioners are being tortured in China. They demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises. People could see that the exercises are very peaceful and starkly contrast with the abuses that people who practise these exercises in China are subject to. -
Germany: Many People Have Started to Practise Falun Dafa Recently in Northern Rhineland

As soon as these new practitioners start to practise, they truly make great strides in their cultivation and cultivate very seriously. They catch up rapidly. Apart from joining the Falun Dafa exercise study session, they also take part in various activities of promoting Falun Dafa and letting people know about the persecution. -
Russia: Appealing Against the Persecution of Women in China on Women’s International Anti-Violence Day

It was snowing in St. Petersburg on that day. Not swayed by the foul weather, Dafa practitioners still peacefully demonstrated the exercises, sent forth righteous thoughts, handed out leaflets and told the people the facts about the persecution. People were shocked and enraged by the persecution happening in China. -

Many passers-by were attracted by Dafa’s elegant exercises. Some asked for information about the local exercise practice sites, while others took the initiative to talk to practitioners about the human rights abuses happening to people who practise Falun Gong in China. By the time the event finished, over 1500 flyers had been distributed. -
France: Anti-Torture Exhibition in Clermont-Ferrand City and Support for China’s Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners
2004-11-29People who saw re-enactments of some of the torture methods used to force Falun Gong practitioners to renounce their beliefs in China were shocked and enraged by the atrocities happening there, saying, “We stand by you and we all support you!” One middle-aged woman said that she used to think that human rights in China were improving but has since realised that this is not the case. Human rights workers have documented over 38,000 specific cases of torture or severe abuse against Falun Gong practitioners in China.
