Russia: Promoting Falun Gong in Stavropol City

Practitioners practised the exercises in a local park. People who were interested in learning were taught on the spot. Many of them were young people. At the beginning, they were a little hesitant. But they all joined the exercise group later on. Some of them even learned how to do the meditation with their legs crossed in the double lotus position. -
France: People in Normandy are Concered about the Persecution Suffered by Falun Gong Practitioners in China

On the 7th July 2005, French practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition in Lisieux to let more people know about Falun Gong and the human rights abuses being carried out against practitioners in China. They simulated some of the barbaric torture methods used by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in attempts to force practitioners in China to renounce their beliefs. -
Czech Republic: People Show Their Support for Practitioners' Anti-persecution Efforts

Two days before the summer holiday began, on July 1st and 2nd 2005, Czech practitioners once again met in the two cities of Ceska Lipa and Litomerice. It was cloudy with light rain, but we felt the local people’s concern about learning the Falun Gong exercises and the efforts of practitioners to stop the persecution happening in China. They wanted to know more and asked for information. -
Germany: Introducing the Falun Gong Exercises During a Cultural Event in Wiesbaden

On July 8th, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners from nearby areas were invited to take part in the annual Wiesbaden town district cultural event. One of the categories for the event was entitled “Martial Arts, Healing and Meditation”, which Falun Gong practitioners participated in, introducing the fives sets of slow-moving and peaceful Falun Gong exercises. -
Germany: Exposing the CCP’s Crimes in Hamburg

Hamburg’s “Stadteilfest Altonale” was celebrated on the weekend of June 18th and 19th 2005. Falun Gong practitioners participated in this event to let people know about the Falun Gong practice and the severe human rights abuses that are being inflicted on practitioners in China by the Communist Party. Practitioners from Hamburg and surrounding areas of Bremen, Bielefeld and even Denmark, participated in this activity. We began the activities by first sending righteous thoughts, while a small group demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises. Passers-by were attracted to this activity and enjoyed watching the exercises. -
United Kingdom: Promoting Falun Gong and Exposing the CCP Persecution during the G8 Summit

During the G8 summit, tourists from all over the world gathered in Edinburgh. On July the 7th and 8th, UK Falun Gong practitioners held activities in Princess Street to promote Falun Gong and collect signatures calling for the rescue of the illegally imprisoned family members of UK practitioners whose family members are still in China. -
France: Raising Awareness about the Persecution Against Falun Gong during the Paris Summer Sale Season

In France, around July each year, there is always a big summer sale with massive retail price reductions. In Paris, the busiest street at this time of year would be Boulevard Haussmann. On the 2nd of July, practitioners met on this street with banners and leaflets to let people know about the persecution that people who practise Falun Gong are suffering in China. -
Latvia: “We Need Compassion and Tolerance”

Local practitioners and practitioners from Liga held a Falun Gong exercise demonstration at Rose Square in the central area of the city, and taught local people the exercises. In the meantime, they also held an exhibition to introduce the popularity of Falun Gong around the world, the recognition it has received worldwide and the facts about the ongoing persecution against Falun Gong in China. -
Germany: Falun Gong brings a Peaceful Atmosphere to the Regensburg Citizens Festival

Falun Gong practitioners set up a stand at the annual Citizens Festival in Regensburg. A large number of passing tourists read about rescuing Falun Gong practitioners deported back to China on the display boards. They signed the petition to call for an end to the persecution. -
France: Promoting Falun Gong and Exposing the Persecution at Lons-le-Saunier

In the morning, practitioners from the east of France set up their stall. The weather that day was unbearably hot. Despite that, many people still approached practitioners to find out about Falun Gong and the persecution in China, and to sign the petition calling for an end to the human rights abuses. -
Finland: “Thank you for letting us know this.”

Practitioners from Finland, Sweden, Germany and Russia joined together on a tour of five Finnish cities to hold anti-torture exhibitions and other activities to raise awareness of the persecution against Falun Gong in China. The tour lasted ten days. Practitioners simulated some of the torture methods that the Chinese Communist Party employs against people who practise Falun Gong. -
Ukraine: Anti-torture Activities on UN International Day in Support of Victims of Torture

On the 26th of June 2005, UN International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, Falun Gong practitioners from Staro Konstantinoy state, Northern Donetsk state and Kramatorsk city went to the famous Novy Svet Mountain to hold activities exposing the horrific forms of torture used by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) on Falun Gong practitioners in China. -
France: Promoting Falun Gong and Raising Awareness about the Persecution in Northern Paris

On the 25th of June 2005, French practitioners held an activity to promote Falun Gong on Place Gabriel Peri near the Gare Saint-Lazare rail station. This was the seventh step of a tour of Paris, intended to let more people know about Falun Gong and raise their awareness of the human rights abuses against practitioners in China. -
France: Introducing Falun Gong in Besancon City

From June the 17th to the 19th, Falun Gong practitioners from Germany, Switzerland, and Grenoble in southern France, along with Falun Gong practitioners in Besancon, held three-day long activities to promote Falun Gong and raise awareness about the human rights abuses in Besancon city centre. -
Czech Republic: Media Interviews Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioner

On the 18th of June, Falun Gong practitioners from the Czech Republic and Slovakia gathered on the Staromestkse Square in Prague. On this occassion we were pleased to welcome Ms. Xiong Wei from Germany, who came to support our activities and tell the Czech media and people her story of how she had been persecuted in China for simply informing the people with the facts about Falun Gong and how it is being persecuted severely by the Chinese Communist Party.
