On August 28 2001, less than 20 minutes after Yin Ling and her son came back from a holiday, seven to eight policemen broke into their home and forcibly took Yin away without any reason. Her 9-year-old son cried, "Mum, where are they taking you? I'm scared." Mother and son were thus separated; her son has had no one to care for him since. -
Practitioner Han Chunyuan from Jilin Province Tortured to Death

Murder in Jiamusi Detention Centre: Guards Stab Practitioner Repeatedly in the Head With Screwdrivers
2003-03-26The detention centre staff took Zhang Changming home and tried to extort 500 Yuan from his family, but they did not have any money. Changming continued vomiting blood and bleeding from his many wounds after arriving home. Unable to eat or speak, he sadly died at 7:30 pm the same day. His entire back was blue, his legs shrunken, his chest, jaw, and right hand all covered in large bruises. There was still blood coming out his mouth the day after he died. His family has been under surveillance ever since. -

Dead At Hands of National Security Officers: Practitioner from Hengyang City (with phone numbers)
2003-03-24The next day, police officers went on the rampage and kidnapped the rest of Chen Xiangrui's family, including his parents, his sister and her husband, and sent them for interrogation to Hengyang City Jingyuan Hotel. The vicious thugs tried to coerce Chen Xiangrui's parents to sign a document. The authorities sent two trucks of fully armed military police to escort Chen Xiangrui's body to a crematorium. Because Chen's parents refused to sign, the thugs detained Chen's whole family until the 14th March. -

Four More Dafa Practitioners Tortured to Death in Jilin Province
2003-03-19In early 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa and was arrested and sent back to Nongan County Second Detention Centre. Even after severe mental and physical torture, the detention Centre still did not release her. Not until she was near death did the detention Centre send her home. Her family members saw that she was on the verge of death, and insisted that the detention Centre send her to the hospital for resuscitation. However, she was dead on arrival at the hospital. -

The Police Instigate the Murder of Elderly Dafa Practitioner at Pingfang District Detention Centre
2003-03-18Mr. Wang Wenxue, 63, because he persisted in his practise of Dafa, was illegally arrested on June 1, 2000, and detained at the Pingfang District Detention Centre for 15 days. It was June and the temperature was over 90oF. The police stripped off his clothes and forced him to lie on the sizzling cement floor, and instigated the jailed criminals to beat him. Mr. Wang died 29 days after he was released.
