  • Two Practitioners in Hebei Province, Die Shortly After Being Arrested

    On March 7th, 2006, police arrested some practitioners. Practitioner Mr. Hong, around 20, used to have kidney problems. After he took up the practice of Falun Gong, his symptoms improved, however, the kidney problem still relapsed from time to time. The female practitioner used to have cancer. On the day of the arrest, after he was taken to the police car, the police saw that Hong Fei was not in good health and they threw him out of the car and onto the street. As a result, Hong Fei died. The female practitioner fainted when she was arrested. Not long after, she also passed away. The details of these two deaths are being investigated. At present, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is spreading the rumour that the two practitioners died because of their practice of Falun Gong.
  • Two Older Falun Dafa Practitioners from Beijing Die Due to Persecution

    Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Tang Jianshu was 65 years old. She was arrested seven or eight times for appealing for Falun Dafa. When Ms. Tang was detained in the Haidian District Detention Centre, she was tortured with severe electric baton shocks, causing her body to be covered with scars. Due to long-term mistreatment by the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution, she became severely ill, had a blurry mind, could not speak clearly, experienced slow reactions, and could not recognise her friends or family. She died in October 2005.
  • Practitioner Mr. Zheng Yongguang Tortured to Death During Second Labour Camp Detention

    Mr. Zheng Yongguang persisted in practising Falun Dafa. Communist regime officials unconstitutionally detained him five times, and he was twice sent to labour camps. During the first detention at a labour camp he was beaten so mercilessly that he sustained a ruptured spleen. Mr. Zheng required surgery to remove the spleen. During the second labour camp incarceration he developed liver cirrhosis and tuberculosis. He died on March 9th, 2006.
  • Detailed Information on Mr. Du Shiliang's Death

    Between 2002 and 2003, in order to "transform" Mr. Du Shiliang, the guards in Mudanjiang Prison forced him to work long hours during the day and deprived him of sleep at night. They also instigated a criminal inmate to torture Mr. Du many times. He had to haul water from the prison to the factory each day. Each time he did this he was exhausted and sweating from head to toe. Mr. Du Shiliang was forced to do intensive physical labour for long periods of time and deprived of the ability to do the Falun Dafa exercises. This was extremely difficult for someone over 60 years old. On January 20th 2006 his family received notification that Mr. Du had died that day due to an acute illness.
  • Three Practitioners from Neimenggu Province, Hebei Province, and Liaoning Province Died because of the Persecution of Falun Dafa

    Ms. Wang Shuying was 51 years old. In November 2000, police searched her home and found some materials exposing the persecution. They "illegally detained" her at a detention centre for one year. Ms. Wang got sick because of long-term detention and persecution. In April 2001 and August 2002, she was sent to a brainwashing centre and went on a hunger strike to protest the illegal detention. The brainwashing centre then force-fed her. Her husband was also detained for six months simply because his wife was a Falun Dafa practitioner. Later on, police stopped by her home several times and harassed her. Ms. Wang Shuying died on January 22nd, 2006.
  • Two Elderly Practitioners from Jiaohe, Jilin Province Die as a Result of Persecution

    Mr. Qi Laixing, 72 years old, went to Beijing to appeal against the persecution of Falun Dafa. As a result, his property was confiscated and he was sent to a brainwashing centre twice. Later on, he was sent to a forced labour camp for two years. During his imprisonment he suffered from all kinds of cruel torture. He was forced to sit on the cold concrete floor from 6 a.m. in the morning to 10 p.m. in the evening. He was not allowed to sleep. If he were found sleeping, they would put a bug in his ear and or stab him with needles. Police used wooden sticks to beat him until he was bruised all over. Mr. Qi died on February 28th, 2006.
  • Supplementary Information on Mr. Zhao Guoan's Death in Henan Province's Third Forced Labour Camp

    "I was detained at the Henan Province Third Forced Labour Camp in August 2003 and was subjected to brainwashing along with Mr. Zhao Guoan. Mr. Zhao Guoan refused to write the three statements and instead wrote down "I will firmly persist in cultivating Dafa until the end and die with no regrets." Drug-addict inmate Liu Wei reported this to the camp guards, and the guards beat Mr. Zhao brutally. Mr. Zhao died as a result of the harsh treatment. Afterwards the guards had Chen Guoqing spread the rumour that Zhao Guoan was bailed out for medical treatment."

    On March 8th, 2006, a former CCP agent revealed that there is a secret concentration camp located in the Sujiatun District of Shenyang City, Liaoning Province that specially detains Falun Dafa practitioners, tortures them, harvests their organs when they are still alive, sells the organs for huge profits, and cremates the bodies to destroy evidence. Based on confirmed reports by the Minghui website, in 2001, a man (non-practitioner) that used to be detained in the Drug-rehabilitation Centre in Guangzhou City revealed that he witnessed several drug addict prisoners beating a Falun Dafa practitioner. The centre's doctor that was standing nearby said, "Don't hit him in the kidney. The kidneys are very useful."
  • The Death of Pilot Liu Ping at the Shuangkou Forced Labour Camp

    Dafa practitioner Liu Ping was from Tianjin City. He was a pilot with a good income, a beautiful family, and excellent health. After the persecution of Falun Dafa began, Liu Ping was arrested and taken to Shuangkou Labour Camp where he was tortured to death. He died on January 1st, 2002. The Labour Camp warden asked a gang of inmates, "Do any of you have relatives that work in hospitals? If you can come up with a certificate showing that this person died in the hospital, I will terminate your imprisonment here and free you immediately." Sure enough, one of the convict's mother worked in a hospital, and a fake death certificate was obtained very quickly; thus the criminal was discharged from the prison.
  • Elderly Couple Whose Son Was Tortured to Death Appeal for Release of Daugher-in-law from Prison

    Mr. Yang Xiaojie was a Falun Dafa practitioner from Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. He was detained in the Fourth Prison of Hebei Prison. On December 28th, 2005, after numerous requests from his family, the prison authorities, along with the Hebei Province Prison Administrative Bureau, finally released him, but by that time he was on the verge of death. When he was rushed to a hospital for emergency treatment, the doctor said: "Why did you bring him here when he is already in such a state? It's too late!" On January 26th, 2006, Yang Xiaojie died as a result of the torture he suffered in the prison.
  • Elderly Ms. Zhu Dafeng Beaten to Death by Police in Wuhan City

    At the end of February 2006, several Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials ransacked 60-year-old Ms. Zhu Dafeng's home and confiscated several Falun Dafa books. The next day her husband called the police station to report her. Soon, a group of policemen arrived. They carried Ms. Zhu downstairs and threw her into the police vehicle. Ms. Zhu was beaten unconscious in the vehicle. She was directly sent to the Armed Police Hospital for emergency rescue. Her body was totally covered with bruises from her lower back down to her thighs. Her blood pressure was abnormal, and she died five days later.
  • Mr. Wu Dianhui Died from Tuberculosis Due to Abuse During Persecution

    Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wu Diahui, 34, was a young lecturer employed by the Changzhou City Normal College in Jiangsu Province. He was persecuted by being locked in a mental hospital, a tuberculosis hospital and a labour camp by his employer and city police. He was tortured with electric baton shocks, deprived of sleep for over one week, beaten by prisoners, locked in a small cell and brutally force-fed, among other abuse. This severely damaged his health, and he died of tuberculosis on February 11th, 2006.
  • Three Practitioners in Hebei, Beijing, and Jilin Provinces Passed Away as a Result of the Persecution

    Ms. Guo Fengxia, 36 years old, distributed materials exposing the persecution in April 2003. She was "illegally arrested" and sentenced to a year in a forced labour camp. Her family tried to rescue her but were swindled out of 30,000 yuan by the CCP. They didn't release Ms. Guo until her one-year forced labour camp sentence was over. Police guards would throw poisonous snakes on female practitioners. Once released Ms. Guo was still harassed and threatened by the local police. Her family did not allow her to practise Falun Dafa. Ms. Guo suffered greatly in both body and mind. As a result, she passed away on February 19th, 2006.
  • Three Falun Gong Practitioners from Sichuan and Jilin Province Pass Away Due to Persecution

    Mr. Liu Benhong, about 70 years old was detained in a brainwashing centre, where he was forced to do heavy and tiring work such as digging, sweeping, cleaning the toilet, dumping or even operating drills. They also deprived him of sleep by forcing him to stand. He was handcuffed to iron bars in a hallway in the Political Protection Section for seven days and seven nights without being allowed to eat or drink. Afterwards he was so thirsty that he drank a half bottle of water that had been secretly poisoned by the police. Since then, his health deteriorated and Liu Benhong passed away on January 15th, 2006.
  • Practitioner Mr. Yang Xiaojie from Shijiazhuang City Dies from Tortured Inflicted at No. 4 Prison of Hebei Province

    On December 28th, 2005, the whole family of Mr. Yang Xiaojie requested the Hebei Provincial No. 4 Prison to release Mr. Yang Xiaojie. After repeated consultations, they finally agreed to release him. By that time he was on the verge of death. Upon release, Mr. Yang's family took him to see the doctor, and the first thing the doctor said was, "Why are you bringing a person here like this? It's too late!"
